Hi, I'm Chad. My goal is to create something captivating that you can cherish for a lifetime, while at the same time giving you and your guests an amazing experience. My films are tailored to you, authentic to your story and your wedding.

I am a wedding documentarian. I film the day as it happens, without being a distraction to you or your guests. To that end, I don’t show up with a bunch of equipment or a huge team. I’ve developed a process of film-making that’s lightweight and nimble, so we can be where we need to be at any moment. No need for re-takes or do-overs. You’ll have enough people wanting your attention all day, rest easy knowing you won’t have to worry about us, or worry if we’re getting the best shot.

    Hiring Chad was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From our very first conversation, he made us feel so seen and understood—he truly took the time to learn what mattered most to us and made it his mission to bring that vision to life. The result?     I don’t think there are enough words in the English language to perfectly describe how amazing Mist and Moss is but, I’ll try my best. My husband and I chose Mist and Moss based on a recommendation from our photographer and we couldn’t be more grateful for that recommendation. Chad’s portfolio was initially what drew us in but when we had a video call, it was a done deal. He asked the most poignant, heartwarming questions that reminded us how extraordinary it is to find the one you love and share it with your loved ones. The true meaning of wedding. On the day of our wedding Chad arrived with the calmest demeanor which completely zapped all our nerves. Everything was so easy and fluid. He was present for all the right moments and gave us space when we needed it. The beauty of it all is that we can barely remember seeing him during our ceremony and reception. I swear he has ninja like skills; always around but never in sight. He brought so much warmth to a day that was bursting with love. It was the exact energy we needed. When we received our videos… just, wow. We couldn’t wait to share them with our loved ones. Chad and his wife PERFECTLY captured the beauty and feeling of the day in its entirety. I don’t know how he managed to bottle up the feeling of that day but every time we watch our wedding video, we are immediately taken back in time… to our favorite day. The professionalism, care, artistry, and ability to perfectly capture a moment in time is where Chad and his team shines. We would hire him again in a heartbeat!     Chad & his team are one of a kind, truly talented, and the coolest people ever. We had the best time getting to work with them and feel so lucky that we had the honor of Chad making our wedding video! Mist Moss somehow captured the very essence of our relationship and turned it into a work of art. We watch it every day because it brings us so much joy!! Lauren & Warren were absolutely fantastic and made our day so special. I am a bit camera shy, so I was a bit anxious about photos/video on the day, but they made the whole process fun and the end result is an absolute treasure.
