Proper Films

Hi! We are Kurt and Madeline Drummond. We are a husband and wife team who are hopeless romantics and love capturing other's love stories through film. We met on Tinder, yes you read that correctly. We are a Tinder success story. #WeSwipedRight. We just got married on June 5, 2021, so we know what it is like to be on both sides of the wedding scene. When we aren't editing wedding films we are snuggled up with our son Brooks and our dog Oliver watching a movie or bellied up to the bar at Texas Roadhouse. 😊

We absolutely love getting to know each and every bride and groom we meet and we love filming weddings even more! Whether it be a small intimate setting or the biggest party in town. Capturing moments that would otherwise be missed or forgotten is what we love. We want you to be able to laugh, cry and smile over and over again each time you relive your wedding day.

We are beyond happy with Proper Films and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a wedding videographer. They are very communicative and from our first consultation on, I completely trusted them and their skills. They did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day and their videos are not just a combination of wedding clips but they create a story and the video takes you on a journey throughout the full day. They do such a great job of reading the vibes of your special day and portraying that beautifully through video. We couldn’t be happier.

Kurt & Madeline were the videographers for our wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better pair to shoot our day. They arrived early and were respectful, yet friendly, to everyone. They were knowledgeable about how a wedding day should run and what to shoot, including bringing a drone for beautiful video of our venue from above. We received our sneak peek and full video back within the the timelines they gave, and both videos were beautiful. I would highly recommend Proper Films, and if I were getting married all over again, I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

We were late to the game in finding a videographer for our wedding and were so excited when we came across Kurt and Madeline! Kurt had our sneak peak video sent less than a week after our wedding because he was so excited about the footage he got. Not only was the sneak peak amazing, but somehow the final video was even more phenomenal. The quality of the videos for their price is unmatched in the central Iowa area. We could not recommend them more!
