It's literally breathtaking. The staff were amazing from the early communication to my day of event manager (the two ladies helped me A LOT!). Amanda was someone who I worked with on my multiple visits and she is an absolute gem! The staff helped make my vision a reality and even a month later, people are still raving about our wedding. The venue is so gorgeous (think double deck cabin style) that it needs minimalist decor (they even have a rental room you can use for the decor) because the scenery is more than enough for pictures. The layout of your event is very up to you with multiple options for where you would want the ceremony to be held. I loved using the patio for the ceremony (gorgeous trees as the backdrop), then held the reception inside (main level with bar deck), and had the dancing back out on the patio (the staff cleared the space but left chairs and benches along the outer rim). The nearby fire pit was perfect for a s'mores station and the side of the building has a nice grassy lawn where guests also enjoyed corn hole. The bridal suite is of good size with a full bathroom and a private deck (my ladies and I enjoyed our morning to the fullest), and then there are two other smaller suites (we did groom suite and the other room was to co-mingle). The staff let me plan multiple week day visits prior to my official planning meeting so that I could get measurements for things, scope out the layout and really get my vision put together on my time. My family and friends all loved staying in the treehouses (what a cool experience itself!). The bar is included with the venue (AMAZING packages with more options included in each than I have seen anywhere else- even with the basic package) so I just had to focus on the decor and the food (catering and desserts). You do only get the venue the day-of unless you luck out and pay for early set-up the day prior (I got lucky with my Saturday wedding and was able to come in Friday to decorate but they are normally booked with Friday weddings). Lots of parking made it convenient for guests. Before the ceremony, John and Skyler were readily available to drive the bridal party around in the golf cart to different parts of the venue for photo ops. They made sure we were on schedule, and helped with guest arrival. \nWe were lucky to have absolutely perfect weather on our wedding day, so we could utilize the gorgeous ceremony space between the beautiful new pavilion and the water. It was such a beautiful setting for our nuptials. \nThe newly built pavilion was also used for guests to enter through and grab a glass of champagne from the Wenbeck’s adorable champagne cart. I mean what is better than a welcome glass of champagne?! \nOur guests LOVED the mini golf during cocktail hour and into the night. Guests were even taking photos of the venue to get ideas for their own future events! On our wedding day, The Beverly's team helped set up all of the tables, chairs, linens and dishware. Even when I made last-minute changes the day-of, they were extremely flexible and helpful. Our wedding was beautiful thanks in large part to The Beverly Mansion. Instantly answered with ease and then some. Not even did I gain a beautiful memory and a beautiful place for pictures, but a few friends along the way! If I could go back and relive our big day I would do it in a heartbeat knowing that there was so much love and hard work shared between us, the Venue and the wonderful team with us. First, Lauren is one of the best humans on this planet and I hope every bride has someone like her if they are planning on doing all of the planning themselves. I chose the package Lauren offers where I got to have her as the \"Day of Coordinator\" and she was on top of EVERYTHING. Any question, any idea, and every anxiety I had over this past year about this day, I would even go to her. She would help talk me through everything I needed and made sure any of my extra ideas that she could arrange for me prior to the day of, she did. I think there is a responsibility on every brides end, to have a good understanding at what a venue has to offer when choosing one. There is also a responsibility for a bride to ask questions and make sure everyone is on the same page to make the day perfect. You cannot assume anything. If you are looking for a place that has great staff, the prettiest view and everything in between- I would highly recommend Bell Manor.
