“We originally booked a different DJ for our wedding, but a few months before the wedding realized that they weren’t going to work out for us. We were getting married during peak summer season on a weekend, and since it was so late in the game we thought we wouldn’t be able to find another DJ who met our needs. Then, DJ Dane was recommended to us by our wedding planner and, after an initial introduction video call, we booked him on the spot. The vibes and professionalism we received from Dane in that initial meeting far exceeded other DJ’s were looking at who were double the cost. It was a huge weight off of our chest to find a DJ who was competent, understood our vision and supported our crazy ideas…all within our price range! Our venue required a gondola ride up to the ceremony spot, a ride back down to the inside reception area and outdoor cocktail hour. He was able to juggle 3 VERY different location set ups and some fairly complicated logistics, all while acting like it was no big deal to him. Additionally, my husband plays the saxophone and I knew I wanted him to record himself playing Canon in D to serenade me as I walked down the aisle. A week before the wedding my husband sent Dane a few recordings of him playing and Dane was able to piece them together and the end result was magical! Dane went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. When we couldn’t decide on our grand entrance song he suggested a few options that matched the vibe and theme of our day and we liked his choices better than any of ours! He did an excellent job assisting with the flow of the day, making requested announcements and handling complicated venue logistics. He kept the party going, and our guests walked away wanting more. I would highly recommend Dane!”

“We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

He is able to get people involved and dancing that would typically just watch or leave at that point. I have been to many weddings over the years but have never been to any that are more FUN than the ones he’s DJ’d. He had the entirety of guests laughing and participating until the very end when the venue told us we had to wrap it up for the night. I had a guest write me a letter afterwards thanking me for having such a fun wedding reception; he is 70 yrs old and stated that this was the best wedding he’d ever been to in his entire life! Wow. That’s a huge statement. Craig deserves this praise! Craig also served as a master of ceremony for the entire day. He helped coordinate people and things so the entire wedding day was not only smooth and efficient but relatively stress free. That was a huge help/relief for this mother of the bride. I can’t say enough good things about Craig & Hi Fidelity Entertainment. They are the best DJ type service out there and I wouldn’t use anyone else. Worth every penny we spent on his services!! 5 star recommendation!!”

We had some strict rules at our venue and Theodore was able to make a great set while still following all guidelines.
