Cottage 84 is our vintage inspired cottage style venue and estate that was built in 1925. The venue is still structured with the original pine walls and flooring and is filled with eclectic and gold, ornate vintage decor and furniture. The indoor dining and the reception area contains floor to ceiling stone fireplaces and our outdoor, covered reception space is equipped with a firestove and heater for those colder nights. We started this business many years ago with not much more than guts and the desire to build our own destiny. We worked long, hard hours, had second jobs and spent many a sleepless night. I sold the parties, and then we’d go in a rented kitchen and make it happen. Luckily those days are far behind us as we have been very blessed, but some things have never changed. West Milford Farm is named for Lightner West, who built the historic home around 1900 and the Milford family, who have lived here since the 1930s. West Milford Farm is an award-winning events facility conveniently located in East Cherokee County, just north of the city of Milton. The property is assembled around the original folk Victorian farmhouse and six historic outbuildings including: Original barn dating to the late 1800s Glass greenhouse, built from reclaimed windows from a local cotton mill Beautifully renovated reception barn Original 1890s corn crib. The reception barn boasts a brand new catering kitchen with granite counter tops, air conditioned handicapped accessible restrooms with bridal dressing room and a huge brick fireplace as the centerpiece in our large banquet barn.
