Ashley, Brandon, and Amanda were a joy to work with from the initial tour to all email correspondence, the day of and even when picking up our decor the day after. We stumbled on the venue in a random Google search and decided to check it out while passing through after the holidays, and were blown away by the venue's layout, architecture, interior design, and features. It was everything we wanted and more. They provided us a very detailed list of recommended vendors covering everything from furniture rentals to catering, even hotels and airbnbs in the area. Their bar service packages were expertly tailored and they even had NA beer and wine which quite a few of our guests really appreciated. Brandon and Ashley were like extra coordinators during our tea ceremony, welcome party, and wedding day. They are extremely understanding of cultural ceremonies and were happy to boil water needed for our tea ceremony and set up the necessary seating and tables for it. Brandon was so attentive to us and our whole wedding party and family. We got so many compliments on his friendliness and kindness, as well as how beautiful and unique the venue is. Ashley was so quick to respond and answer any questions we had weeks and days leading up to our wedding. When we were visiting shops and places in the Geneva area a couple days leading up to the wedding, everyone in the community gave them such high praise, telling us we were in great hands, and they couldn't have been more right. Everyone at the cracker factory is professional, kind, communicative, and fun. They helped us have an incredibly fun and stress-free wedding. If you are looking for an off the path and charming Upstate NY venue, their's is top notch. Close to the convenience of Cooperstown and Oneonta but remote to enjoy what Upstate NY has to offer throughout the seasons. If you're planning an event, definitely consider The Rosemary at Spano. Any extra things we wanted for the wedding or reception just needed to be dropped off and the event coordinators took care of the rest. The coordinator we met with was great with communication through email. We really enjoyed our dinner tasting - the food was amazing! The coordinators made the day run so smoothly. The room for the cocktail hour was set up wonderfully. Table settings are included with the package and the candles looked perfect. We felt secure in knowing we could easily move the ceremony inside with any weather concerns. The landscaping/greenery is so well taken care of, it looked fantastic for our ceremony outside on the patio. The hotel staff set up, serve, and clean up - it made for a very relaxing weekend. Our hotel room was incredible also. The hotel was generous with leaving little surprises and gifts for us when we arrived to our room. Literally a beautiful classic venue with such potential to make any brides dream come true. We rented the entire hotel for our reception all 19 rooms and it was perfect for our guests. The bridal suite room is beautiful with a whirlpool tub and was perfect for my wedding party to get ready for the ceremony in. Our ceremony was elsewhere but I could see someone have everything right at the Sherwood and it being completely beautiful. Greg was absolutely wonderful to work with. There are 2 venues to choose from a formal venue room on the 1st floor and a basement bar venue which we rocked and danced our reception into the early morning hours. The photos are to die for trust me!! Allie and Kurt are gems and helped make our wedding so very special. From the beautiful property to the fun yard games, gorgeous renovated barn and hayloft to the lovely overnight we spent at the B&B, it was an occasion we'll never forget. The space is flexible to have a ceremony indoors or out, space for live music, ample dance floor real estate, and the loft can be set up in different configurations for whatever suits the event.\n\nAllie used flowers from the property to adorn the tables while Kurt managed catering deliveries, and they were amazing with set-up, tear-down, welcoming guests, and so much more. Allie communicated with us clearly about making sure we had the proper paperwork filed for having beer and wine on-site, and details for making things run smoothly on the day-of.\n\nWe booked a night at the B&B which was so fabulous - they've renovated the farm house with such charm and character, many things being up-cycled - and breakfast we had the next morning (with ingredients from the farm!) was scrumptious.
