The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

My sister also rented the Photo Booth and I’m SO glad she did. Everyone had a blast with it & DJ Lennox’s assistant was just as cool as he is. She was so much fun, so sweet, and so funny. He played our specific request and was able to play good songs (both per our request and from reading the room) to keep people energized and having fun during dancing. Great job and value. He knew just what to say to ease our tensions with any part of the process and was helpful on all fronts, not just the music. Imagine a young Rick Rubin who’s going to make your day happen through fierce professionalism and calming holistic approach. Day of, Lucas was there early and making sure all the gear was working and problem solving on the scene to make the experience even better than we had talked about. He was able to not only have the music playing through the two large speakers we had planned for outside, but also got it seemlessly hooked up to the speakers throughout the interior space. This was key, because we had to last minute move the whole wedding inside due to rain. It was priceless to see see Lucas problem solving all of that with plenty of time to spare because I had so many other things to worry about with the shifting rain plans. I knew I didn’t have to worry about that whole part of it though, and the quality of the sound throughout the day really smoothed over all of the last minute adjustments and helped make everything feel like it was all part of the plan. It was a perfect day beyond my wildest expectations, and Lucas Walters was a huge part of that.”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“The first time I met Tony I knew he was going to be our DJ. He was so easy to talk to, and aside from that out of all the DJs we met with he was the only one that asked us what we wanted and what kind of music we had in mind. Hiring Tony was by far THE BEST decision we have ever made. Our dance floor was packed all night, and even the event staff were dancing throughout the night because he was that good. Everyone I talk to raves about how much fun they had and how awesome he was. Not only will he make sure the music is great and your dance floor is on fire, but he actually cares about what you and your significant other want. The week before our wedding so many vendors were reaching out to us about all the things that needed to be finalized; but when we met with Tony that Tuesday before our wedding he was such a breath of fresh air. After that meeting my finance and I were like okay we are ready, and we know we are going to have fun. Not only is Tony himself an amazing DJ and person but so are the other members of his team. One of his associates was the DJ for our afterparty and he was equally as amazing. We can honestly say that we had SO MUCH FUN at our wedding and a large part of that was due to Tony and his team. We would hire Tony and his team again in a heartbeat and we recommend that you hire him too!”
