Sarah has been a local in Crested Butte for 20 years and has been creating custom art, chalkboards, murals, and faux finishing for the last 15 years. She decided to combine her experience, skill, and talents in the arts with floral design. After attending the Floral Design Institute of Portland, Sarah has opened Bramble and Bloom, and is excited to share her custom and unique take on florals with clients. I started working with wood flowers in February of 2020. A friend of mine had recently gotten married, and seeing her bouquet in the trash stuck with me. I researched fresh vs silk flowers, fresh are stunning but expensive & have a fast expiration date. Silk flowers didn’t really satisfy the customization and realism that I desired. I stumbled across wood flowers, purchased a few & quickly realized that not only was I actually a little talented at what I was doing, but I absolutely LOVED doing it. I fell in love almost immediately. I want to express my love & passion for these wood flowers & I want brides to fall in love the same way I did.
