The place has a beautiful interior, modern lighting, a calm atmosphere that you can style into your own thing, and the best views of the Cooper River! The American Swedish Historical Museum provided a gorgeous, stunning, breath-taking, fun, and grand venue for our wedding. The unique space and open exhibits allowed our guests to explore during the event, and the heated tent was spacious and wonderful. The museum created a beautiful backdrop of the city. Working alongside JAM Catering and the ASHM staff was easy and fun - they made everything flow seamlessly, and we could not stop getting enough compliments on the venue, food, and drinks.

We had a terrific experience having my son and daughter in law's baby shower at Merchantville! Alyssa was amazing to work with- very communicative and full of great ideas. We had a Sunday brunch, and the food was delicious and plentiful! The Chef was also very helpful with certain dietary needs. The staff was super nice and did a great job. It was a beautiful room to host a party! Plenty of space and the views were wonderful. We were also permitted to use the out door patio, which was a nice plus. Highly recommend!
