At one point when I forgot my bouquet, someone raced to grab it so I didn't walk down the aisle empty handed! It's clear this team truly cares. I originally chose this venue based off of the ceremony space. After growing up going to Sanibel, I found a venue that gave me old Sanibel vibes and I was sold. From the palms and greenery, to the stairs that give the perfect walk-down-the-aisle moment. From there, the reception area was everything I could have asked for and more. Light blues, white and airy - an absolute dream. Having a huge dedicated bridal suite the day of was also a huge game changer. Whatever I pictured in my head as my wedding day, the venue blew it out of the water and exceeded it — but I’d be remiss to not mention those behind it. Sadie - Sadie was an absolute rockstar and a big piece of why our day was so amazing. She runs a tight ship and it is so evident the pride she takes in her work. I can’t think of a single thing that went ‘wrong’ and that is such a rarity on wedding days. She kept our timeline in check, set up all of my little details, and was just so accommodating to me throughout the year, especially being an out of state bride. If you have the opportunity to work with Sadie, you are very lucky. The food - the FOOD! I never ever hear people talk about food after a wedding, and people were RAVING. The steak, the grouper, the apps (lobster was a massive hit!)… the list goes on. It is beautiful and updated and we didn’t have to incorporate many more decorations because of this. There was issues at times communicating with the venue planner. There was mishap on the day of the wedding where the bar was opened at a time it wasn’t supposed to be and wasn’t in our contract and we had to pay 1000 for what was served during this time. My husband and I got married at this magnificent venue 1/27/24. From the first time we visited to the end of our wedding night the staff made us feel like a king and queen. They will cater to your every need big or small. I left feeling like Lauren (the head of operations) was apart of my family. She answered every single text and was there from me from the beginning even if I was a bridezilla! I will truly miss her as she made me feel like a princess. The venue has an absolutely gorgeous space for a ceremony which we called “the island” paired with a breathtaking cocktail hour and reception area. I had guests tell me they felt like they were in a hallmark movie! The bridal suite was something out of a fairytale, with several stations for you and your girls to get ready in (the PERFECT photo op.) I watched my guests file in from upstairs and it was such a surreal feeling that I could not get anywhere else. Again, I would like to sincerely thank Lauren Russell and the rest of the staff for making a notoriously stressful day, a breeze. Do not go anywhere else!
