Why you'll love this venue

  • Historic touches

  • Venue is completely outdoors

Venue considerations

  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • Does not have a dance floor
  • Lighting and sound are not included
I am so happy I chose The Tucker Homestead as the venue for my wedding and reception. Out of all the venues in the area, I still believe firmly that it is the most beautiful and elegant. I was so overwhelmed planning my own wedding, and Caron took so much stress off my shoulders. I don’t know what I would have done without her! She also offered great ideas and suggestions when it came to aspects I was unsure of. We had a beautiful September (2016) wedding on the lawn, followed by a delicious dinner (Caron is an amazing cook!) inside the historical house, and a reception in the charming rustic cabin. She owns a B&B just a short distance up the road, which my bridesmaids and I used to get ready the morning of, and the night of the wedding, the wedding party spent the night there. Caron is very detail oriented, and it shows because every component of my wedding day was beautiful and perfect. It is such a charming place! No regrets at all!

LockRidge Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was very easy to communicate with, and the owners live just minutes away, so they were always available to help. The park itself has multiple options for an indoor or outdoor wedding, and it also has several places for the bridal party or guests to stay overnight. They were kind enough to teach us how to properly use any equipment that came with our wedding package, and Brian even used his drone to capture a video of our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend LockRidge Park to any couple planning their big day.

The Ashley Inn

5.0

Lancaster, KY
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

The nostalgic Ashley Inn is the most romantic location for your Kentucky bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding weekend, and out-of-town guests. Celebrate lakeside near a gorgeous weeping willow, on the front lawn of the antebellum mansion, or in our newly-constructed, fully-enclosed Carriage House. The Inn and surrounding 130 acres is the ideal location and comes equipped with all the facilities and staff you need. Step through the doors of this classic federal-style home into a historic picture book. From the white oak floors to the handmade glass panes, experience life in a bygone era. The Inn was conceived in 2007, but this beautiful home dates back to 1840. Built by a southern family whose son-in-law would eventually march by the estate on his way to fight in the Civil War. It has since served as a dairy, a school, and is now the center of The Meadow Lake Equestrian Center, our on-site multi-discipline full-service equestrian facility.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Natural elegance with open spaces
  • Provides setup and cleanup

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
The Ashley Inn was the perfect venue, they have great staff and Heidi is a joy to work with . If you want the ideal Kentucky themed wedding look no further than the Ashley Inn. The venue is nice for out of town wedding party members as the venue sleeps 14 plus people. My only recommendation would be to add additional fans in the barn for late night dancing. We had both barn doors open, but no summers breeze so the barn heated up fast for dancing.

The Haycraft was an outstanding choice for our wedding venue. Brittani and her team were extremely effective, to the point, and direct in their communication, which was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. The quality of their work was nothing short of perfection - the venue was clean, the setup was breathtaking, and they went above and beyond to make our special day truly outstanding. Brittani even went out of her way to pick up a dress for me when I accidentally left one at home! From start to finish, The Haycraft made all of our wedding day visions and dreams come true. We were so happy that we choose this venue. Whenever we had a question, Megan and Braidyn were quick to answer and so helpful. The best part is that they were helpful in picking the table decor. I was confused and lost and having their help plus being able to use their decor was a lifesaver. We wanted a Slytherin Harry Potter-themed wedding and they made that dream come true. They are truly the best ever!
