We can’t wait to have our wedding reception at Hotel Alpenrock!! From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff — especially Fharron — went above and beyond to make us feel supported and confident in our decision to celebrate such an important day here. Their attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care made it clear we were in the best hands. They took the time to answer all our questions and walk us through the space. The planning process has been very smooth so far, and communication has been quick, clear, and easy. Whether it’s confirming the reception layout, discussing our room block, or checking in on small details, the Hotel Alpenrock team has made everything feel stress-free and exciting. It’s such a relief knowing we have a team behind us that truly cares about making our day perfect, and we are so excited for our guests to experience the level of service and care that we have during our wedding weekend in September. Before we found Hotel Alpenrock, we were feeling so defeated by the lack of options in Breckenridge for a wedding reception with over 150 guests. As soon as we found the hotel, it was a no-brainer. We are so grateful we found Hotel Alpenrock, and we can’t wait to celebrate there with all our family and friends!

Perched atop a cliff overlooking Breckenridge, CO, The Lodge at Breckenridge is a luxury resort wedding venue. This mountain lodge offers breathtaking views over the town of Breckenridge and the Tenmile Range. The Mountain View Conference Room can accommodate 140 guests for reception seating, while the Foyer Room is better suited to cocktail receptions. Catering can be provided by the in-house catering team with a variety of packages and services to choose from. The property has two private guest houses that are perfect for the wedding party’s stay. The interiors feature cozy, rustic furnishings, and decor.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Classic seating dinner
  • Offers convenient lodging options
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • On-site parking not available
  • No in-house lighting and sound packages available
If you’re looking for a scenic mountain wedding, the lodge is perfect! Being able to get married on the huge deck overlooking the Rockies was the perfect backdrop for our special day. The convenience of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces all being together along with the ability for guests to stay on site really sold us over. We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. The staff were friendly and helped make our day stress free with setup, teardown, and bar and food service. The only downside is the space is slightly outdated, but that can be covered with decor. We also didn’t like that we couldn’t have a hotel block for our wedding guests and there wasn’t any sort of discount or upgrade for the bride and groom even though we had many people stay at The Lodge. We recommend event guests book rooms well in advance to make sure they have a room there if they want one. Picking a wedding venue isn’t easy and we’re ultimately glad with where we ended up. We would definitely recommend The Lodge at Breck!

Arapahoe Basin was the perfect Colorado ski wedding venue for our special day. They provided a detailed timeline to ensure everything went smoothly, and were invested in making sure our day was amazing. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with the beautiful mountain backdrop.
