Jackie and Danny Spano have created something special with the Rosemary at Spano Lake. I had the good fortune to get married at the Rosemary this May, and my husband and I are so grateful that the Rosemary will forever be part of our memory of our wedding day. It is objectively a beautiful place to get married with gorgeous vistas of the lake and the woods and flawlessly manicured grounds. It also feels intimate because you and your guests are truly welcomed into the Spanos' home. Jackie and Danny went above and beyond to ensure our guests were comfortable and happy on a day when the weather didn't fully cooperate by setting up the site, getting us heaters, doling out umbrellas, and working with us to host our ceremony in a window when the clouds parted. Even though they weren't coordinators for the event, the Spanos did everything they could to make sure we were getting the most out of our day. Aside from the remarkable couple running the Rosemary, this venue has so much more available for you than the average outdoor venue, including handmade harvest tables, a bridal suite, chairs for your guests, and a sailcloth tent. I couldn't recommend it enough.

The Cracker Factory is a renovated industrial factory in Geneva, New York. This 65,000 square foot factory houses The Cracker Factory, 3Stories non-for-profit, and Miles and May Furniture Works. The Cracker Factory building, built in the early 1900s, was first home to Geneva Forge, a cutlery manufacturer. In 2007, Miles and May Furniture Works moved their production to the first story and began renovations on the previously unoccupied building. Since 2010, the second-floor gallery space has been in use for art shows, concerts, and events.

Not only is the Cracker Factory a beautiful hidden gem, but every person on the team is amazingly considerate, kind, and helpful. Ashley, Brandon, and Amanda were a joy to work with from the initial tour to all email correspondence, the day of and even when picking up our decor the day after. We stumbled on the venue in a random Google search and decided to check it out while passing through after the holidays, and were blown away by the venue's layout, architecture, interior design, and features. It was everything we wanted and more. They provided us a very detailed list of recommended vendors covering everything from furniture rentals to catering, even hotels and airbnbs in the area. Their bar service packages were expertly tailored and they even had NA beer and wine which quite a few of our guests really appreciated. Brandon and Ashley were like extra coordinators during our tea ceremony, welcome party, and wedding day. They are extremely understanding of cultural ceremonies and were happy to boil water needed for our tea ceremony and set up the necessary seating and tables for it. Brandon was so attentive to us and our whole wedding party and family. We got so many compliments on his friendliness and kindness, as well as how beautiful and unique the venue is. Ashley was so quick to respond and answer any questions we had weeks and days leading up to our wedding. When we were visiting shops and places in the Geneva area a couple days leading up to the wedding, everyone in the community gave them such high praise, telling us we were in great hands, and they couldn't have been more right. Everyone at the cracker factory is professional, kind, communicative, and fun. They helped us have an incredibly fun and stress-free wedding. We couldn't recommend this space and this team enough.

The Barrack’s Inn stone center building was the first building built in the War of 1812 to be the bakery. It is on the historic national register. Inside we can seat 150 people, while outside we can seat an additional 100 people. We are happy to make any and all food requests and we feature all-inclusive packages which include: flowers, table decorating, music, photography, cake and desserts, ceremony, favors and all food and beverages.

We had our wedding at The Barracks Inn last month (Labor Day 2022). What a beautiful venue, the view can't be beat, the reception/dinner room is beautiful, the food was wonderful. And the drinks were perfect! The owner was so accommodating with all of my quirky plans - never complained, listened to what we wanted and made it all happen. We are picky so this is really something. The sound system is great - really over the top from what you would normally expect. Dancing on the beautiful deck that sits out on the water was heaven. We could have danced until dawn. I heartily recommend this venue and Kim (the owner) as "the" place to have your wedding, anniversary party, birthday party, or just a party party! You will be very pleased with the whole process.

The Barn on Hyder Creek is so charming! The owners are fabulous to work with and are so accommodating. They have decorated the barn so beautifully, the farm tables are to die for, and the bridal suite is huge! As a planner, I appreciate their open communication and flexibility, but also that they stick to their word and provide the services promised. I will definitely be back.

I simply do not have enough words to describe how incredible everyone at Stoney Creek Castle is. From Magdalena being there every step of the way in my wedding planning to Doug's amazing food, to all of the other staff going above and beyond for my husband and I, they blew me away! Run to this venue. The aesthetics are one of a kind and the staff are in a league of their own. The bartenders are personable and amazing at what they do. We NEVER had a line at the bar. All of our guests are still raving about this venue because they not only supported us, but made everyone's night the best it could ever be. I couldn't be happier and more thankful to have found this venue. Thank you so so much to everyone at Stoney Creek who made my husband and I's day the best day of our lives. The Grove was the perfect location for our special day. The staff was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The location was perfect for us. It was easy to get to but still felt like we were off the beaten path in our own little world for the day. The facility itself is beautiful and did not require lots of decorating, which was a huge plus! I would highly recommend The Grove to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue!

I will never have the words to accurately describe what our wedding weekend at Gilbertsville was like. To say it was a dream would be an understatement. First things first, we booked this place in the dead of winter - like actual snow on the ground - because even without knowing what it looks like in season we knew it was unreal. From then on, the process leading up to our wedding was nothing short of pleasant and exciting. The team - Sharon and Gina - are extremely responsive and never make you feel like your questions are too small or trivial, they understand how important the day is to you and are in the process with you. Our tasting with Shane and his team was just another incredible day that solidified we made the right choice. I've been to plenty of weddings but Gilbertsville's food is so spectacular and nowhere near just the typical churned out wedding chicken and steak. Then our wedding weekend came and we never wanted it to end. The property itself it's just so incredible, even the adults were reverting to childhood when they saw all the animals and the glamping tents. Katie and George took such good care of us throughout the weekend and were always positive, happy, helpful and matched our vibe of just being in a good mood. I truly don't have enough good things to say about this place as a wedding, or the people who work here. HUGE shoutout to Gina, Sharon, Katie, George, Shane and everyone else who gave us a memory we'll never forget. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE

Amazing! We had our daughter’s wedding downstairs in the event space last weekend. Billy and the staff went above and beyond to make the day perfect! They seamlessly flipped our ceremony and cocktail hour so we could still get those breathtaking mountain views during our ceremony. They even brought delicious snacks and drinks from the cocktail hour to our bridal suite so we wouldn't miss out on any of the fun. We opted to have our rehearsal dinner at the venue as well as the reception, and we were not disappointed. We got many compliments on the food, and especially the fish tacos, which we didn't try during the tasting dinner, so we were pleasantly surprised! All around, everything was delicious. We also stayed at the venue from Thursday to Sunday, which definitely made the whole experience feel even more special, as it truly did feel like home while we were there. Olivia and Edvard were absolutely amazing. They were so professional, accommodating, and truly helped us every step of the way. When the power went out in the main house while we were getting ready, they were right there to help us get it back on. Their calm demeanor and quick thinking really put us at ease. We can't recommend Seven Ponds Farm enough. It's a beautiful place with an exceptional team who will make sure every detail of your wedding day is well thought out. Yes! CHOOSE THIS VENUE!! You’ve found the right place! We are finally getting around to posting our review about the most perfect wedding venue we could have imagined! We saw Maple Shade November ‘22 when we were ‘shopping’ for a wedding venue; choosing it was a no brainer. The barn itself is unique and different than any others we have seen and it comes with everything. Dining area upstairs, separate from the cocktail hour, dancing, downstairs bar, lounge area, game room (this place has it all!). Long farm tables are gorgeous within themselves and need minimal decorations. And with the venue having SO MUCH on site, there was no need for us to order and prepare any other decor items like we would have needed at some of the ‘Blank Canvas’ barns we initially considered. The barn sits on acres and acres of land, giving you the option of where to have your ceremony, we chose right in front of the pond where our wedding party had a grand entrance from the large barn doors. MAGICAL! Enough about the venue, although we hope this paints an accurate picture! Everything you could need is there!! More importantly, Jay and Abby Wilson (owners of Maple Shade) are absolute rockstars. From our first visit and follow up phone call, we knew working together would be a breeze. They were helpful in our initial planning stages, helping us plan different details, offering extremely helpful advice. Wedding day they were like conductors of an orchestra, making sure everyone and everything were in place and running according to plan. It was PERFECT! And when uncontrollable things don’t go to plan, they had us covered! On our wedding day in late July, there was a high percentage of rain expected only during the time of our ceremony; Jay and Abby made the call that morning to put up a tent and made all the adjustments needed without causing bride and groom any extra stress… THANK GOD they did - it literally monsooned during the ceremony, like nothing we've seen before at an outdoor wedding! (Just a fluke storm rolling though). They reminded us that as a bride and groom getting married at their venue, they make the same decisions for us and our guests that they would make for their own children. They are kind and caring and so fun, and certainly know how to run a wedding venue. We respected, trusted and appreciated all their knowledge and hard work. It’s definitely not their first rodeo! As we will continue to call this day "the best day ever," we are very grateful to Jay and Abby for all of their help, attention to detail, and their ability to see and understand our vision for the most perfect wedding we could have imagined. Ps- they made a few recommendations for supplementary vendors (catering, DJ, bartenders) and all their recommendations were also HOME RUNS! It was such a smooth operation.

If you are looking for a blank slate to create your own dream reception/wedding experience in a vintage historical setting then the Sherwood Inn is the perfect place for you. Literally a beautiful classic venue with such potential to make any brides dream come true. We rented the entire hotel for our reception all 19 rooms and it was perfect for our guests. The bridal suite room is beautiful with a whirlpool tub and was perfect for my wedding party to get ready for the ceremony in. Our ceremony was elsewhere but I could see someone have everything right at the Sherwood and it being completely beautiful. Greg was absolutely wonderful to work with. There are 2 venues to choose from a formal venue room on the 1st floor and a basement bar venue which we rocked and danced our reception into the early morning hours. The photos are to die for trust me!! And, the town of Greene is wonderful and welcoming.
