That's why when we decided to search for someone new and stumbled upon Chelsea, we knew the stars were aligning at the the correct time with this absolute blessing in disguise. From our first meeting, Chelsea listened to us, understood what we were coming from and where we wanted to go in terms of our photos. Her breathtaking bright and colorful photos were exactly what we were looking for in our April wedding. Despite meeting in person for the first time the day of our wedding, the lead up and communication day of made it feel like we were old friends seeing each other again. Both her and her husband/second shooter Ryan are top notch. They executed all the fun little quirks we wanted perfectly, including our groomsmen "NFL Entrance" photos, and private "First Touch". They stayed through most of the night and captured the entire reception, intros, dances, and party. “Shukhrat and his wife Rachel just shot our June 8th wedding and we couldn't be happier. They were amazing to work with and the photos are phenomenal! About the pictures: Shukhrat is versatile and very skilled. When we took our engagement photos he provided us with various styles of photos and editing, and then used our feedback to guide the photos he took at our wedding. He is also flexible. We got married in a city park and there were wayyyy more people in the park than we were expecting at 6:00pm at night. Without missing any of the candid details or true-to-life colors that we wanted, Shukhrat was able to frame the photos and/or alter the lighting so that the park goers were barely visible in the background. Both Shukhrat and Rachel are also very skilled at giving direction when needed, but letting you do your own thing the rest of the time. Neither my husband nor I have a lot of experience in front of a camera—they gave us enough direction to feel confident, without making us feel stifled or overly posed. We wanted photos that felt organic and genuine, and they were really able to capture that. Working with Shukhrat and Rachel: The two of them were a dream to work with. Incredibly professional--very communicative, punctual, quick turnaround time on photos. And they are also just lovely people. You spend so much time on your wedding day with your photographers, it's really important to feel comfortable with them, and we certainly did. They brought both a fun, but calming energy, easing our pre-wedding jitters before the ceremony, and leaning into the excitement as the night went on.
