Not only was it the dreamiest wedding because we got married in front of all of the people we love, but because of the absolutely beautiful venue and the team that brought it to life.\nMorten & Min, the owners were so helpful, kind and just the brightest lights from the moment we met them when we toured the venue through the planning phase and our wedding day. They clearly have a very buttoned up and efficient process, which showed the day of. Now let me talk about the rest of staff … they are AMAZING. We worked with Lawrence and Rosie the weeks leading up to our wedding and the day of and not only did they go above and beyond at their jobs, they truly seemed so happy to be there. There were a number of other team members behind the scenes that helped bring together a seamless wedding (we barely even noticed them - in a good way!) so thank you to the team. This includes the chefs cooking it up in the kitchen, while we didn’t see you … we were told by friends and family how delicious the food was / it was the best wedding food they ever had. The risotto…. Oh my was it delicious!! Another amazing benefit of Blenheim Hill Farm was their recommended babysitter, Victoria - she watched 5 of the kids who attended ceremony but not reception right on the grounds. She made arts and crafts and carved pumpkins with them! The parents and kids were very happy with her.\n\nLastly, all we have to say is….. The mountains, the ponds, the charming farm (and adorable goats)—it was all picture perfect.\n\nOur guests couldn't stop raving about the gorgeous setting. And even when the weather threatened to dampen our plans, the incredible team at Seven Ponds Farm had a backup plan to save the day. They seamlessly flipped our ceremony and cocktail hour so we could still get those breathtaking mountain views during our ceremony. They even brought delicious snacks and drinks from the cocktail hour to our bridal suite so we wouldn't miss out on any of the fun. \n\nWe opted to have our rehearsal dinner at the venue as well as the reception, and we were not disappointed. We got many compliments on the food, and especially the fish tacos, which we didn't try during the tasting dinner, so we were pleasantly surprised! All around, everything was delicious. \n\nWe also stayed at the venue from Thursday to Sunday, which definitely made the whole experience feel even more special, as it truly did feel like home while we were there. \n\nOlivia and Edvard were absolutely amazing. They were so professional, accommodating, and truly helped us every step of the way. When the power went out in the main house while we were getting ready, they were right there to help us get it back on. Their calm demeanor and quick thinking really put us at ease.\n\nWe can't recommend Seven Ponds Farm enough. It's a beautiful place with an exceptional team who will make sure every detail of your wedding day is well thought out. There is a feeling there that just cannot be described. It glimmers and sparkles with history, magic, and warmth. We had our wedding weekend there 11/22-11/24 and when I say it was perfect, I mean it. The rehearsal dinner taco bar was spectacular and so much fun. The wedding ceremony outside in the snow was epic, and the dinner was superb. You get to pick your own menu - like, WHATEVER you want! People raved about the food. We had about 85 people and the tables all set up inside looked gorgeous and it was totally roomy. The main room transformed into a dance floor made it feel like we were partying in the house from Clue or Haunted Mansion. The owners and staff are incredible. They won’t just help you plan your wedding - they’ll become your friends. They not only attended to every detail we cared about, they also took the time to really honor the emotions and history behind our wedding and marriage. I wish we could do it all over again. It was epic and magical and truly perfect. We first visited about a year before our wedding and immediately felt like it would be the perfect place for our special day. We were greeted by the resident golden retrievers, who followed us on our tour. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be very happy with this venue! But really, it was Amie, Mary Beth and the rest of the staff who sold us. We immediately felt like they cared about making your day as perfect as possible for us, which was very welcome after touring other venues which felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny from us. After we decided on the venue, Amie was so willing to work with people like us who wanted to plan every detail possible. Amie answered all of my questions and sent additional information like floor plans so I could plan who was assigned to each room as soon as possible. Her communication over email was so incredible helpful! We absolutely loved that we could have so many guests staying at the inn and knew that would be perfect for our winter wedding. Next came our tasting, which was such a fun event. There are two tastings a year, both in March (though I think you could have a private tasting if you need). We loved being able to stay at the inn for a night and meet all of the other couples getting married here within the year. As our wedding was in February, we had to wait a long time between the tasting and trying the food again, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Chef Jeff did an amazing job with our welcome party, breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding, the absolutely amazing wedding dinner (and late night snacks), and brunch the next morning! We heard that most couples have a hard time eating during their weddings, but we cleaned our plates! Definitely try the butternut squash ravioli, it is incredible! We had our ceremony in the barn, then moved to the bar in the inn for cocktail hour, then dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the living room. They take out the big pieces of living room furniture and move some chairs to the side for dancing. A lot of my family was skeptical about that, but the inn knows what they’re doing!! The dance floor was plenty big for our party of 60 (and I’m sure it could have accommodate larger groups), and the chairs on the sides were a huge hit! It was incredible to be able to sit down for a minute and still feel like you’re a part of the party. I know a lot of our guests enjoyed that as well. We got ready in the Norman Rockwell suite, which worked out well since we had a small bridal party. We also loved getting to see all the rooms in the inn - every room is thought out so well and has little details that are so fun to find! We thought the inn was what made our wedding weekend so magical and cannot wait to visit again on anniversaries or other special occasions. It is nestled inside of rolling hills and the land is covered in beautiful orchards and picturesque white buildings. It was like a scene out of a movie--and it really was, as Good Will Hunting was filmed there! The process of planning the wedding with the staff at Scott Farm was truly seamless. Simon was kind, patient, and helpful, leading us through all the specifications and details of the site, and making himself available if we ever had any questions or concerns. And Jaja was a rock star--she went above and beyond in every aspect of her duties, especially on the wedding day. Without her calm and confident presence, trouble shooting problems and reassuring an anxious bride and groom, the day would not have gone so perfectly. I can't say enough about how supportive, pleasant, and wonderful everyone is at Scott Farm.
