I had the immense pleasure of hosting my wedding at Appalachian View LLC in Newland, NC, on August 11, 2024, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional, thanks to the incredible team of Pam and Gracie, who facilitated the operations at the venue. Pam, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure my special day was everything I dreamed of. Her patience, organization, and genuine passion for making every wedding unforgettable were evident in every interaction. She not only offered invaluable advice but also referred me to trusted vendors, making the planning process seamless. I was even able to rent her stunning place settings, which perfectly complemented my wedding theme and were surprisingly affordable! When I finally met Pam in person before the wedding day, she treated me like family—truly making me feel like a daughter. That warmth and care continued throughout the entire experience. On the wedding day itself, everything was executed flawlessly. The venue’s attention to detail, from setup to operations, ensured a stress-free and magical day for my husband and I. The breathtaking property was the perfect backdrop for celebrating with our closest friends and family. The combination of exceptional service, kindness, patience, and compassion, paired with the stunning beauty of Appalachian View, made it a day I will treasure forever. This is hands down the best venue in the blue ridge mountains (coming from an Ashe County local couple)!! This venue is so stunning and needs minimal decoration to make it feel elegant and classy but still have a relaxed atmosphere. Paula is filled with so much wedding knowledge and provides a list of recommended vendors, which would be great for those who are not local. Paula is quick to respond to texts and calls and always eased my mind. The bridal suite, groomsman room, and honeymoon suite were so convenient to have right on site. The cabin on the farm was clean, spacious, and has everything your family/friends need. Mark, Paula’s husband, works so hard during the week prior to the wedding to maintain the landscaping and beautiful dahlia garden. I would also highly recommend using Caroline Orcutt as your wedding coordinator (add on service). She is beyond organized and makes sure everything runs smoothly the day of your wedding. She is quick to response to emails, texts, and calls. She also gave us tons of suggestions that would fit in our budget. We could not recommend this venue more and thank the Domske’s and Caroline for all they did for us to make our day so special!!

The owner Lisa is wonderful and really makes it incredibly easy to show up and enjoy! She gave the best recommendations for vendors. Recent renovations even made a fully enclosed bar area perfect for sipping and staying warm in the winter. We had 35 people and it was the perfect size even though 35 was the maximum number of guests. Overall, not a chance in a million years I would prefer any other venue. I wanted a wedding venue in the mountains of North Carolina. I viewed so many venues from Salem to Banner Elk. Nothing compared to The Fields of Blackberry Cove. They were easy to set up a viewing appointment with. They walked us all around the property, including multiple ceremony options and a large guest house with a bridal suite and two guest bathrooms. Doug, the owner, offers his own catering which was beyound incredible. We did a buffet style and it was all delicious. Doug even made me my own cauliflower steak - I'm a vegetarian. We had the BEST experience with our daughter’s wedding! The location is beautiful and very unique. Very spacious as we had 140 ppl. Easy to find, great parking, and a wonderful layout. From planning to execution, Courtney was more helpful and kind than we could ever expect. She and her family went above and beyond to help us have the perfect wedding. Accommodations were made for every need we had, even those unexpected. And for the Dads, financially it was worth every penny!
