Hillside sits where the Wet Mountain Valley meets the magnificent Sangre de Cristo Mountains in southern Colorado. The tiny town of Hillside provides a rural mountain feel while still accessible to the front range, close to the quaint town of Westcliffe, and easy access off Hwy 50 and 69. Our five on-site cottages can accommodate up to 18 guests, perfect for the wedding party and or family, additional lodging is close by. We host one wedding per weekend allowing you to access the property the day prior so you can unload, set-up, relax, enjoy and celebrate. Use our outdoor patio for a casual BBQ rehearsal dinner or bring a wood fired pizza truck or caterer, the options are endless. Step into your special day under the largest willow grove in Colorado. Let the party begin with dancing on the 100-year-old fun dance floor. We pride ourselves on exceptional service.

We own and operate a mobile bar business and have multiple boutique bar options to choose from if you book your wedding with us! We offer site only pricing for your ceremony or more inclusive pricing for ceremony, reception, catering, bar services and even our adorable mini donkeys as beverage burros for your wedding! We have the perfect hillside for your vows and a beautiful reception site that can accommodate up to a 40'x60' tent. We accommodate family destination weddings, couples on a weekend get-a-ways, reunions, and companies holding business events. The property has many features you are sure to enjoy: sleeping arrangements for 40+ guests, walking trails, barn gathering and event area, wildlife, hot tubs, fireplaces, tee box and more. Each element of the property can be rented individually or the entire complex can be rented. Currently there are four elements: The Lodge, The Cabin, The Apartment and The Reception Barn. Illuminations at Arrow Vista Ranch is a rustic outdoor wedding venue located in Hartsel, Colorado. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, this property promises stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside. Illuminations is surrounded by Ponderosa Pines and wildflowers. The venue runs off solar and wind power, making it the perfect venue for environmentally conscious couples. A dedicated cocktail area is available, complete with bistro lighting. Couples have use of Illuminations at Arrow Vista Ranch for 14 hours on the day of their wedding. This plan also offers benches for up to 120 guests during the ceremony, as well as a quaint log arch. Various round tables are supplied for receptions and cocktail hours. Couples and their loved ones will stay comfortable whatever the weather with the ranch's tube heaters. A dance floor and log bar are provided for memorable celebrations. In addition, a TIPS-certified bartender can attend to you and your guests and facilitate any toasts.

It all started when a Groom called his Best Man in need of ideas for a back up plan when a rainy September day was threatening to ruin his bride’s backyard wedding…for 100 people. A former machine shop just became vacant, so the best man thought maybe it could work. It became clear the weather was not going to cooperate, so the plan went into effect. Within 48 hours, a makeshift wedding utilizing the brides, decor and tables, scrubbing up oil from the recent removal of machining equipment, and sister-in laws that stepped up to the plate to help a bride, and love parties and a good challenge, helped make the day a success. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun bringing a warehouse to life! After a couple weeks of deliberation, we decided to jump in and make this place special. Here we are, seeing our vision come true, and providing Colorado Springs with a unique event hall to share and make memories.
