Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. After seeing the property, its luscious landscape, and the rustic charm of the original buildings, Rick had a vision. He saw the property transformed into a modern, chic space that maintained the history and character of the original farm. More importantly, he imagined bringing others’ visions to life with a beautiful and unique setting for weddings and private events.

Our working grain farm of 350 acres in Southern Delaware is located 30 minutes west of the Delaware and Maryland beaches. We offer a beautiful tented area in the 5 acre Lavender field, separate open sided barn, pond, sheep and unobstructed sunset view. Our farm is perfect for your wedding day!

La Banque de Fleuve presents two distinct spaces, each with its own unique allure. The Historic Bank, with its lofty ceilings, ornate chandeliers, and intricate details, exudes the timeless opulence of a bygone era, where elegance beautifully intersects with history, creating an atmosphere that whisks you away to another time. On the other hand, the Seaplane Base offers a contrasting yet equally enchanting setting. Nestled alongside the river's edge, it provides sweeping panoramic views of the water, infusing your celebration with a natural serenity. This historic estate sits on a secluded the 23 acre East Lake. The mansion can sleep up to 14 guests overnight. Minimum night stay is 2 nights unless the wedding guest list is under 35. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in the mansion for small indoor weddings. Tents and rentals and catering are by our selected vendors and we can assist with all of your wedding needs from music to flowers to makeup artists and hairstylists.
