Chassey was awesome!! She was very kind and sweet. My husband and I booked the venue/pavilion 21 months prior to wedding date sight unseen based off her personality, customer service, pictures, cost and the fact that I wanted a beach wedding in Ohio. The months and days before the wedding, if we had any questions, comments or concerns, she responded in a reasonable amount of time. We went to visit the venue a year before the actual wedding (5/27/2024) so that we could get a visual of the area. The day of the wedding, Chassey and her team were very helpful, kind and courteous to myself, family, and friends. They helped us decorate the venue although we brought our own decorations. Everything was beautiful and ready before the start of the wedding. They made us feel very comfortable. They went above and beyond our expectations. We (family and friends included) will definitely be back to visit for vacation.

Catering off-site events can be difficult, but Jeanne Fleming made it a breeze. We, as caterers, were able to communicate easily with her from when the wedding planning began through the day and evening of the event. We were able to work together in a way that gave the bride and groom nothing to worry about on their special day. I have been recommending The Christy House after discovering how great they are to work with!

The Boltes, who own and operate Arlington Acres, are phenomenal to work with. We can’t say enough good about our experience. Not only is their venue STUNNING, but it boasts an exceptional rain plan that allows you to leave your reception space untouched and still have plenty of room for guests to mingle for cocktail hour. Arlington Acres has two beautiful suites for the bridal party to get ready in, two equally gorgeous areas to host reception events, and a naturally beautiful outdoor ceremony space. Not to mention, there are so many great locations for photos that your photographer will love! Arlington Acres provides monthly open houses for booked couples so that you can do walk throughs with family, friends, and vendors, test decor, practice walk throughs, ask questions, and even do photo sessions. Sarah even went as far as to help us schedule a private time to do our engagement shoot on their property. We also booked majority of our vendors through the recommendations made by Arlington Acres. They have built an incredibly helpful website with all kinds of tips, suggestions, and measurement info. for their spaces. We booked Arlington Acres for both the Friday before our wedding and the full day of our wedding, Saturday. This gave us an additional day for set-up and we held our rehearsal dinner at the venue Friday evening. We looked at 5 venues with Arlington Acres being the first and nothing compared to the venue itself, or the hospitality and kindness shown by the Boltes. They are as invested in making sure your special day is flawless, as you are. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful their space and property are, and they loved the photo opportunities their sunflower patch (seasonal) brought to our day. If you’re questioning booking with Arlington Acres, just do it. You won’t regret it and you’ll love working with Sarah and her husband! If we had to do it over again, we would without a doubt still choose Arlington Acres!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Oakwood Lane Weddings on November 9th and it was the PERFECT day! The property is stunning, and the owners, Amanda and Jesh, are so welcoming, kind, helpful, and overall just the most incredible people. Amanda was always checking in with us from the time we first visited the venue until we were cleaning up the morning after the ceremony and helped us every step of the way. She kept us up to date on any offerings they had available and was quick to offer additional services if she felt it would make the day better. We cannot recommend this venue enough and are so excited for other couples to experience the kindness of Amanda and Jesh and the beauty of the property. We chose Bloom & Bower for our wedding reception and it was the best decision we could have ever made (aside from marrying each other, of course). The venue itself was beautiful and was decorated to match our ideas and beyond. We were able to make use of the indoor and outdoor spaces during the reception. The property is gorgeous and there is plenty of space for picture opportunities and for guests to walk around or play yard games. My bridesmaids and I used the bed and breakfast the night before and got ready there in the morning. It was perfect and made for great getting ready photos. Plus the decorations are so cute inside. The Bloom & Bower staff exceeded all our our expectations and were ready to help with anything and everything. They were also beyond kind. In preparation from the reception, we were able to meet with the owner multiple times to tour the venue and for two planning meetings to make sure she understood exactly what we were hoping for. The owner, Margaret, is the most kind and genuine person. She was so supportive of all of our ideas and was there to make sure our day went smoothly. I will recommend this place to everyone! I couldn't imagine having our special day anywhere else.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner/welcome party at Bay Arts on 7/29/22. We had around 100 guests and worked with Chatty's (next door to Bay Arts) to plan a menu featuring charcuterie, pizza, desserts and, to top it off, a pig roast. The venue is like a secret garden - the outdoor patio, flowers and fairy lights make for an amazing backdrop. We had music playing throughout the night and the sound was great. Best of all, the people at Bay Arts were SO lovely and easy to work with. We worked with Kelly, who made the whole planning process incredibly easy for us. Although we were planning a party for 100 people, we didn't have a single stressful moment throughout the planning process. The night itself was a dream, and Bay Arts will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. HUGE thank you to Kelly, Matt & team!

We absolutely loved our wedding venue at both the Chapel and Hotel for Grand Pacific Junction. The two venue coordinators, Jessica and Erinn, were very knowledgeable and helped keep the event running smoothly. They went above and beyond with various scheduling and logistic challenges among our vendors. The space in the hotel itself was beautiful and required very little decorations to bring it to life. There were two restrooms downstairs and one upstairs. For our 100ish person wedding, I was worried bathrooms would be a logistic issue, but it was not! The bar was our favorite part of the venue with its vintage style and wide layout, so bar lines were never a problem. Every one of their recommended vendors exceeded our expectations. If I were to give advice to another couple looking to book Grand Pacific Junction, my only suggestion is keep in mind you likely won't have access earlier than the contracted time period, so adjust accordingly and keep your decorations simple, or better yet hire or appoint someone to do them! Decorations took longer than expected, and it altered the photography timeline which wasn't a big deal, but do keep it in mind. Thanks again to Jessica and Erinn for keeping everything running smoothly in the background and making sure my husband and I were truly hands off and enjoying ourselves the entire evening.
