Like...second to actually getting to marry my husband. I was getting ready as she dropped things off and set up so I didn't get to see them until I walked into the reception and I was absolutely blown away. The cookies, cake shooters, mini pies, etc. that we ordered looked absolutely tantalizing. Everything was delicious but my personal favorite of the treats that night were the vanilla bean tarts topped with fresh fruit. They were perfection.\n\nI loved, too, that multiple guests came up to me at the reception to rave about the dessert bar and how delicious everything was. My dad, who had initially been a little put off that I wasn't doing a traditional cake, came up to me after a few minutes at the dessert bar to tell me that the mini blueberry pies were amazing and he wouldn't doubt me again (haha). For me, wedding cakes have never been memorable. Having been to a dozen weddings in my life, I just don't remember any individual cakes tasting great or looking so beautiful that they stuck in my mind. Melissa's dessert bar though?
