This was our third annual Family Day Camp at Apple Ridge Farm, and it was another wonderful experience! Our families look forward to this event all year, and the farm continues to deliver. From swimming and hiking to the low ropes course and the aquatic program, there were activities for everyone to enjoy. The Apple Ridge team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the day, helping to make the event a true success. Ann was especially responsive and supportive from the planning stages through the event itself. We are so grateful for their hospitality and have already booked for next year!

We're a family-owned working farm located in New Castle, VA about 20 minutes from Roanoke. We have >100 acres of pristine land that backs up to National Forest land. The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.

The Pavilion at Black Water Junction was built by our family, for our family. We used old wood, old doors, huge rocks, and live edge boards, all found on the farm. We decorated with special things from our family. All of this makes our venue a very special place that we would like to share with you!

The venue itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained, providing the perfect backdrop for the special day. Not to mention the views and landscaping added the cherry on top! Reservations include private use of all grounds and facilities - we only host one wedding at a time. Garden chairs, banquet tables, tablecloths in a variety of colors and choice of two centerpiece styles are included. Rates are based on day of the week, month and services. May, June, September, October and December are considered on-peak. Friday and Saturday are considered on-peak. Rates vary from $3100 for an outdoor garden wedding and reception to $7900 for a full weekend of services including overnight. Elopement packages are available for 2-10 guests and include officiant, wedding cake and toast. Inquire for $. Rosa Lee Manor was an incredible venue for our wedding. Their communication was very quick, whether by email or text, which was so helpful during the planning process. Everything was clean and organized, and the price was very reasonable compared to other places, especially considering all that they offer. They made everything so smooth for us on the day, and we even got a complimentary breakfast basket! It was so convenient that they had a house on the property where we could have both our ceremony and reception. The house sleeps 12, so our bridal party was able to stay with us and get ready there as well. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day.
