My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. My only regret was not having more time to chat with our guests for longer because we simply couldn’t peel ourselves off the dance floor. It was also very fun working with the band for all requests. They learned our first dance song so quickly and even sent me a sample of a shortened version of the song to practice to with my husband. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. “Living Jade was the best decision we made for our wedding vendors. They played at our engagement party in Santa Barbara and our actual wedding in San Francisco. Steve encountered an issue with a band member. The singer got sick the day before the wedding, but he found a replacement that was outstanding. His network of musicians allowed him to resolve a major issue. My husband and I were happy that our contract was respected. On top of that, the energy of the band was amazing on stage. We were so happy that our guests were all on the dance floor. I never sweat so much on a dance floor.”

“Words can’t express how much we loved working with Ana & Jimmy and the entire Amp DJ Band Hybrid. My husband really wanted a band while I really wanted a DJ, Amp DJ band was the perfect mix. We found Ana & Jimmy immediately and were able to schedule a meeting with them the next day. We knew right away that they were right for us. They were extremely attentive and outgoing from the start. They answered all out of questions and addressed concerns we had. We booked them immediately because we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to work with them. We met with them several times through our 6 month planning process. They responded immediately to any questions that popped up along the way and even allowed us to make a last minute change the night before. They well exceeded our musical playlist, taking the songs we requested and tailoring the rest of the music to fit the vibe. There was a perfect mix of live songs and an awesome dj set. The amount of compliments my husband & I received about the band far exceeded anything we expected. All of our guests LOVED them (of course as did we). So many people reached out that night or the next day to say how impressed they were with Ana, Jimmy & the whole band. We also had an acoustic guitar player at our cocktail hour which was amazing.
