The LODGE is our latest addition, which includes 14 studio hotel rooms and 16 suites. All spacious suites are equipped with kitchens and have the ability to adjoin to a studio for families or larger parties. Half of the suites are western views with balconies. It is named after Jacob Swoope, the first mayor of Staunton and a land developer in the late 1700s. The Space Downtown was created in late 2010 by owners of chefs Tim Burgess and Vincent Derquenne. The two have been partners since 1991, creating their first restaurant Metropolitain which operated in the same location as Space.
