We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate our marriage, and we're so grateful to The Farmhouse for helping to make our wedding day so memorable and thank you to Laura who rocked this entire event for us! We could not have done this without you.

This notable estate is truly a one-of-a-kind property at which to host your wedding celebration. The mansion was built in the 1850’s and is the former home of William DuPont Sr. and his family. Your ceremony can be held on the sprawling lawn alongside a charming gazebo and gorgeous perennial garden. Bellevue Hall features stylish dining rooms, elaborate marble fireplaces, a sophisticated wood-paneled library, and an enormous central foyer with a grand staircase. Celebrate your happy occasion at Bellevue Hall. It’s sure to be a memorable event!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Space for a large guest list

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
If you’re looking for a wedding venue in northern DE, I would highly recommend Bellevue Hall. We had our wedding here in early April, and it was gorgeous. Though we were a little early for all of the flowers to be blooming, the magnolia tree on the walk-up was in full bloom and we were able to take a lot of our pictures in front of it. There are tons of picture options across the grounds, and the "getting-ready" suite for the girls was the most amazing room out of all the venues we toured. It was a little expensive to extend your time in the morning, but that seems to be more of a state park fee as opposed to a venue fee, and it was worth it. The tent was beautiful for our reception and had a lot of room for dancing- which was great. Overall, a great experience and venue with a lot of choices to customize your wedding to fit you. I would highly recommend it!
