My youngest daughter, was diagnosed with an Auto-Immune Disease, called Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) just after her 1st Birthday. Prior to the diagnosis she suffered from constant vomiting. Through endoscopies and food elimination we determined that she could not eat anything that contained Gluten, Dairy, Eggs and a few Fruits and Vegetables. Since her diagnosis, I began to develop recipes that would not only taste good but, look good too. Most Allergen Free recipes that I found contained other ingredients that she could not eat and if she could, she didn’t like the consistency. So once it came to her 2nd Birthday I was going to be ready!

Our ancestors established this property in 1826. We named our venue this because we treasure the history of this space, and know there were many long, happy marriages on this land. There are several natural backdrops from which to choose for your ceremony; a log barn built in the 1820s, under an oak tree that is almost 200 years old, next to the pond on the dock, or by the large barn with a few curious horses behind you. Then walk across the green grass to your celebration under a tent, with or without a dance floor, lighting, tables, chairs and linens of your choosing.
