She’s willing to travel to you for the trial (in addition to the wedding of course) which helped me out SO much! And the two hair & makeup artists she brought with her to take care of my bridesmaids???? They were also INCREDIBLE. My bridesmaids all couldn’t stop gushing about how much they loved their hair and makeup and honestly I was shocked because I have a few hard pleasers! Lupe is just so professional and it truly shows: she helped throughout the entire hair extension purchase process to make sure I got the perfect style and color for my hair, then cleaned and prepped the hair extensions for me and gave me a hair extension bag to store them in, started massaging my shoulders on my wedding day when I was stressing over the weather and the possibility of having to bring the wedding indoors, greatly helped the photographers with all their photos even after she was already done with my hair and makeup, then stayed behind to touch all us girls up after we got drizzled on by rain for our getting ready photos outside, and even gave me a touch up kit before she left for the day. I would happily recommend Candy Rose for your event styling needs. They excel at making your hair and makeup vision while sticking to schedules. Just be cognizant of their cancellation policy requiring 14 days notice, otherwise 50% fees apply. They follow the contract to a tee and changes 12 days before were NOT accommodated. They don’t contact your bridesmaids about this either so it is 100% up to the bride to communicate the cancelation policy to bridesmaids, which was not clear to me or my bridesmaids. Aside from that disappointment, working with Candy Rose was a dream. Their corporate approach kept us on track to celebrate in style.”

“Alicia has done my makeup several times for some big moments in my life! The event always seems to be better when I look and feel my best, and Alicia never ever disappoints. She takes the time to customize your makeup the way you like it, and does as much as she can to ensure YOU look like YOU! For example, I typically wear my eyeliner from the very inside of my eyelid and “wing it” out. Not everyone does the same as I do, and Alicia asks how I do it normally, so that she can do it for me. The little things like that really make you feel your best and like you, not some model or something. She is incredibly clean and sanitary as well. All of her makeup is dispensed onto a palette that she uses to apply it to your face so no cross contamination is possible. Everything else she uses is sprayed with alcohol and she doesn’t use the same brush on two different people. Girl has TONS of brushes that always show up to an event nice and clean looking brand new. As a person, she is SO sweet! You can tell she absolutely loves what she does and you feel like you’ve known her forever after you finish up with your face of makeup. She is so wonderful and will do her best to make any reasonable request a reality. She’s truly a gem and I could not imagine using another makeup artist. Bekah listened to every single request I had. I was really impressed with her immediate understanding of the look I was going for, and the color choices she made to make that happen. This was not a problem at all for Ne'Kea and her team. Contacting her was easy and her responsiveness was prompt and professional. She worked with me to schedule my trial, which could have been a challenge because I live in New York and the wedding was in Baltimore. We ended up doing the trial near me in New Jersey and it couldn't have been more convenient. We had some last minute schedule changes with my bridal party on the day of the wedding and the team handled it easily. And my makeup and hair were exactly what I had envisioned.
