We held our rehearsal dinner and welcome party for our wedding here. We were speechless...From the quaint, New England charm of the atmosphere, exterior, and location to the exquisite hospitality from Matt and Mariah, the owners and their team. Through all the wedding planning, Matt and Mariah were consistently communicating details, providing help/guidance and finally once we held the event, every touch point was incredible down to a tee. One out of numerous examples was the groom didn't get the chance to eat the pizza they made. He politely asked if there was any leftovers in the back and if he could have a slice or two. Within minutes, they promptly made an entire fresh pizza from scratch, boxed it up and handed it to him. We're very thankful and every guest said it was the most extravagant welcome party they've attended to kickoff our magical weekend! Couldn't recommend more!

We got married at the Red Barn in June 2025 and can't say enough good things about the wedding and the Red Barn staff. At every interaction, they went above and beyond for us. The venue is absolutely stunning and I loved that there were so many options for taking photos. We also stayed at the Stage House Inn and did our rehearsal lunch there, which made the whole experience easy and seamless for ourselves and guests. One thing future bride/grooms will understand is how overwhelming starting wedding planning can be, and how hard it is to figure out pricing for all your vendors. I've heard horror stories from girlfriends on hidden fees and surprise costs. The Red Barn was so transparent on costs from the start, which was a huge differentiator for me. We worked with Alex and Colleen and they were both fantastic- so organized and communicative. As someone who didn't have a dedicated planner, it was invaluable to have Colleen available to help plan our day. Colleen was on top of my 10,000 emailed questions and put me at ease in the days leading up to the wedding. Everything went so well, our guests had a great time and we owe that to the Red Barn and the staff! Big shout out to Moe as well who made sure the groom and I were well fed and always had a cocktail in hand (and a smile on our faces!). Thank you to everyone at the Red Barn who made our day so magical!

I had my wedding June 11, 2022 and could not have asked for a more amazing venue. It is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS and naturally beautiful. Absolutely stunning and unique. My guests can't stop talking about how special the wedding venue was and were constantly wowed by the authentic Maine forest surrounding. The new owners, Matt and Abby, were incredibly responsive, helpful, and flexible when we needed help. We had catered food for the bridal suite the morning of but they forgot to include silverware! Matt ran out personally and got us some. They made the wedding venue feel really personal for the day, not just another hotel ballroom. The barns offer unique ways to make your wedding truly yours. We used the smaller barn for the cocktail hour which was fun to have people milling about, then fit 150 people for a seated dinner reception and a big band and dance floor! Tons of space, tons of dancing, and beautiful brand new bathrooms and bar off to the side. It really is a special location to have a wedding and your guests will truly be wowed.

The 1830 Wedding Barn, nestled in the scenic heart of Oxford, Maine, is a charming historic venue perfect for weddings and special events. My husband and I had our reception at the 1830 Wedding Barn on August 3rd, 2024. Molly and Brian were kind, helpful, responsive, and helped make our day incredibly beautiful. When we first arrived, there was parking services to help guide us and our guests on where to park which made getting in with all of our vehicles a lot easier. They were accommodating, and set the barn up perfectly. I was in awe when we arrived after our ceremony to our friends and family enjoying such a gorgeous venue. My family was able to take advantage of the handicap accessibility which was wonderful to have for them. I was able to drop my decorations off 2 days before our wedding, showed Molly how I wanted them and didn’t have to lift a finger or worry about any of that at all. They helped make our entrance a surprise by opening the doors for each person being introduced into the barn. . Molly and Brian were on stand by all night, in case we needed something but were also courteous in just letting us do our own thing and dance the night away. At the end of the night, Molly and Brian packed everything up so nicely for us, so pick up was a breeze while we were able to focus on thanking our guests for coming. Our wedding day really couldn’t have been more perfect, and we have the 1830 Wedding Barn to thank for contributing such a big part of that! Thank you Molly and Brian!

Saltonstall Farm

5.0

Stratham, NH
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $9,000

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Unique barn setting
  • Wheelchair accessible

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No all-inclusive dining options
Sophie and Kyle are down to earth, caring, and a joy to work with. We planned a wedding for June of 2020 and had to postpone the reception by a year, which was no problem at all. The farm is a truly idyllic setting, and the 5-story newly renovated barn is astoundingly beautiful and fully equipped for multimedia experiences. Everyone who attended our party had a well-deserved blast after sheltering in place for so long. Thank you, Saltonstalls! Best wishes for your new adventures. <3

HARPSWELL, ME
  • Up to 150 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,500

Cranberry Mountain's rough hewn wood and timber frame trusses, warm walls, and gleaming concrete floors provide a beautiful texture on which to build your special event. If you need lots of room to bring your dream to reality and you love a raw, rustic aesthetic, let's envision the story of this space together.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Bridal suite on site
  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
  • Does not provide event staff
My mom booked Cranberry Mountain Events for my baby shower. We used the indoor building and it was beautiful. It was a safe place for the kids to run around. We had access to the catering kitchen because my mom did all her own food prep and was able to use the refrigerators and counters. Was clean and easy! I had about 30 people and we had a large center table and everyone could sit together. The space is big but it was cozy and it didn't feel awkward for our smaller event!
