“We all know that hiring vendors for your wedding is stressful, but Lauren was stress free and my BEST choice! She communicated with me throughout the entire planning process and helped me iron out all the details surrounding the big day. As someone who didn’t use a wedding planner, this was huge for me because I had no idea what I was doing. Lauren helped me through this by providing some timeline templates, and answered any questions that came up (even if it didn’t relate directly to photography). Aside from planning, I knew I had made the right choice when we shot our engagement photos. Obviously the final product is why you hire a photographer, but Lauren provided high quality photos AND a great experience! My husband does not like his photo taken and will usually morph into a toddler who throws tantrums when asked to stand in front of a camera for too long - but not with Lauren. We had so much fun shooting with her, she really made it an awesome experience and my husband actually enjoyed himself! For our wedding day we had exactly the same experience, just on a much larger scale. We had a few last minute changes to the plan, and Lauren made sure that for every sacrifice that was made, that there was no detail or photo opportunity missed. She even spent 20 minutes in a broom closet with my mom and I to try to get my bustle buttoned before the dances. Everyone who interacted with Lauren on that day had nothing but great things to say about their experience working with her, and she was absolutely my favorite vendor on my wedding day. Our photos were sent to us before the date they were promised by and they are absolutely PERFECT. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives! Lauren is phenomenal at what she does, but more than that she is an amazing person. I truly feel like I’ve gained a friend by working with her and I will never use another photographer to capture my memories. “Working with S&LM was pretty good. They communicated to me closer to the event, and asked me for everything they needed and more. The pictures I have seen so far look great, and the small video I have seen looked good as well. They made sure I got almost all of the specific photos I wanted, and had a take-charge attitude while photographing, and making sure everyone was in the right place and looking great! The DJs were pretty good, but didn't know all the specific songs we mentioned that we wanted played for certain dances/moments. They also didn't announce the first dance until they were hitting the play button, which threw our choreography off until we asked them to restart! Unfortunately, some people missed our dance because they didn't know that it was happening. It still worked out in the end, and all the right songs were played at the right moments. All in all, I would definitely recommend Lights & Sound Media to prospective couples.”

“Stacey was a dream to work with! She was quick to respond from the minute we submitted an inquiry to weeks after our elopement. She also scheduled an initial zoom meeting before even signing anything which was very personable and helpful to meet the person you might want to hire! For the day of, we had an intimate elopement with only 3 friends. Stacey made us feel so comfortable and like she had known us for years even though we had just met in person that day! Stacey gave us directions on what to do for the pictures, but not strict posing which made the pictures seem so much more natural, candid, and real. She is a gem of a human and so friendly. After the elopement, Stacey provided us with sneak peeks almost immediately. And when we were delivered the final pictures, we were blown away. Every single picture was PERFECT. We also requested some photos on film, and every single one of those were perfect as well. Could not be happier with choosing Stacey to photograph our day that we’ll remember forever.”
