Guests have the opportunity to explore one of Baltimore’s oldest cemeteries which contains tombs of prominent political, military and business leaders, and the grave of Edgar Allan Poe! Westminster Hall, formerly a Presbyterian church has a unique combination of early Gothic Revival appearances, mixed with today’s modern conveniences. The restored Gothic church has elegant stained glass windows, carved oak woodwork and an 1882 Johnson pipe organ. People appreciate Westminster's prime location at the corner of Fayette and Greene Streets in downtown Baltimore. Lovely Lane—while serving an active congregation—has hosted public groups for decades at our mid-Baltimore heritage site location. Yet, our space had limitations until recently. Modern amenities have been added since 2020 to improve the visitor experience and increase public use of our historic building. These amenities include: ADA-compliant street-front access ramp into building Four additional gender-neutral restrooms on main floor Air conditioning with fresh air mixing component in Fellowship Hall space

Couples have the option of choosing from four unique event spaces: Fox Court, a neoclassical room that features a coffered ceiling supported by elegant Ionic columns and a gorgeous sculptural light installation by contemporary artist Spencer Finch; Antioch Court, a mosaic-filled room that surrounds the museum's Atrium and features floor-to-ceiling windows; the West Lawn, a beautifully landscaped garden that features captivating sculptures; and the Meyerhoff Auditorium, an elegant space that features a stage and portable Marley dance floors.

The Other Barn is nestled in the heart of Howard County, MD, providing a rustic and charming barn setting, close to home. Originally a dairy barn, it now provides a unique, elegant, and warm atmosphere perfect for celebrating life's special moments. The Other Barn is ideal for hosting outdoor wedding ceremonies and indoor wedding receptions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Other Barn prides itself on being an affordable, local venue while allowing our clients to choose all of their own vendors in order to watch their dreams become a reality on their special day. Clients are required to bring in a licensed caterer of their choice. We offer a full kitchen, a large ice machine, and ice chests. We will set up tables and chairs for you prior to your event, according to a specialized floor plan that you design with our Facility & Rental Coordinator. Table coverings, decorations, and other set-ups will be provided and put in place by the client and their vendors.
