In 1865, after a stagecoach crash, two travelers were welcomed by William and Mary Jane Dodge, who later opened Mountain View House. Over generations, the resort expanded, hosting celebrities and presidents. It closed in 1986 but was revived in 2002 as Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, offering luxury and hospitality surrounded by the White Mountains.

The Carriage House at the Gregory Inn is a new and unique intimate wedding venue. Our carriage house and Pole Barn accommodate your guests! We offer the full experience - that includes chairs, tables, linens, glassware, and plates to the basic rental of the venue and somewhere in between, as well as a 10x30 tent space for food, music, cake, gifts, and more. Our barn uses centuries - old techniques and traditions of joining heavy timber frames with a mortise and tenon method, supported by wooden pegs and brackets. Using local woodworkers and craftsman bring the true Maine experience to our barn. While building an old style building and incorporating all of today's amenities, such as temperature controlled environment, lighting, plumbing and plenty of parking it makes the perfect place for your venue.

1785 Inn, is a historic, classic country inn nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Formerly operated as both B&B and Fine Dining Restaurant. The Inn was well-known for its spectacular mountain views, cozy pub, friendly service, comfortable lodging rooms; tte restaurant for it’s delicious meals with waiters outfitted in tuxedo shirts and bow ties preparing Caesar salads and flambe dessert table-side. 1785 Inn is a wonderfully relaxing place to vacation any time of year.
