The Barrow House features two separate outdoor tents and seven unique rooms capable of playing host to a variety of private events. From intimate dinners to large scale events, we are happy to accommodate. We proudly offer you a meticulously designed spaced, hand crafted specialty cocktails and elevated comfort food. We hope to make your event a day your guests will talk about for years to come. The Barrow House is one of four restaurants owned by Skopos Hospitality. Each of our spaces have their own concept meant to transport you to a different time and atmosphere. Rails Steakhouse offers a unique and rustic setting for weddings, combining gourmet cuisine with a warm, inviting atmosphere. With customizable menus and flexible event spaces, Rails Steakhouse ensures a personalized experience. Rails is best suited for an intimate smaller wedding of up to 44 guests, and up to 100 for a cocktail party reception.

Birchwood Manor has a total of 10 event spaces available. Guests will immediately be greeted by a dramatic spiral staircase in the venue’s lobby. The Jefferson Ballroom is perfect for your reception. Hosting up to 300 guests, it offers an elegant setting for an extravagant affair. The room features one-of-a-kind, hand-painted frescos, a beveled mirror wall, tall bay windows and 11-foot ceilings. The Grand Ballroom is the largest room available. Accommodating up to 800 guests, the space is breathtaking with its four magnificent crystal chandeliers and large dance floor. Outside the venue, couples can take advantage of the picturesque grounds for their ceremony, including a gazebo, fountains and enchanting gardens.

Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens.
