West Milford Farm is named for Lightner West, who built the historic home around 1900 and the Milford family, who have lived here since the 1930s. West Milford Farm is an award-winning events facility conveniently located in East Cherokee County, just north of the city of Milton. The property is assembled around the original folk Victorian farmhouse and six historic outbuildings including: Original barn dating to the late 1800s Glass greenhouse, built from reclaimed windows from a local cotton mill Beautifully renovated reception barn Original 1890s corn crib. The reception barn boasts a brand new catering kitchen with granite counter tops, air conditioned handicapped accessible restrooms with bridal dressing room and a huge brick fireplace as the centerpiece in our large banquet barn.

Cold Creek Farm is a family owned venue, operated by Jeff and Susan Buffington. Located in the North Georgia mountains, it was originally purchased in 2011 to be a working farm with animals and all! A few years and a great deal of hard work later, it is now a place where love is celebrated almost every weekend of the year. You are welcome to talk with the great people who are here to serve you and your guests on your wedding day. Nestled on the edge of a stately front lawn, the three-story home and ballroom are hidden from outside view. We started this business many years ago with not much more than guts and the desire to build our own destiny. We worked long, hard hours, had second jobs and spent many a sleepless night. I sold the parties, and then we’d go in a rented kitchen and make it happen. Luckily those days are far behind us as we have been very blessed, but some things have never changed.
