He worked so hard on the day of our wedding to get the best shots, and was very kind and helped us a lot with organizing order of events. “Working with Megan and her husband for our engagement session was such a lovely experience. It was our first time being professionally photographed ever and we were expecting to feel super awkward. But it turned out to be a perfectly tolerable and even enjoyable few hours. We were given enough instruction to help some poses look better, but not so much that we couldn’t feel comfortable to be ourselves or settle into what felt natural — especially since most of the session was in our home. “If we could, we’d give him an infinite amount of stars because he deserves it! For starters, when my now husband and I were looking for a photographer, we were looking for someone who would capture our vision. Something outside of the ordinary and completely non-traditional. We stumbled upon his website and work. Boy, Oh boy! I was left speechless. Each piece I saw of Zorz just told a story! A story of love, definition, purpose, and, most of all, happiness. They were vibrant yet moody. Exactly down my alley. I instantly told my husband... “He’s the guy!!’ So we booked him INSTANTLY! Fast-forward to the first photo shoot. To give you an idea of what I wanted, I wanted to capture a nontraditional engagement photoshoot that steered away from the typical wedding photos. We opted to trash the dress. (Full disclosure: to me, traditional weddings are overrated, and the prices of wedding dresses are a scam.) So I thought, "Let's get creative! Let’s trash the dress like a beautiful, vibrant disaster." We told Zorz, and he was FULLY on board. He understood the assignment and absolutely delivered it! “I found Meghan on TikTok literally the day after I got engaged and immediately knew she had to be our photographer. I wouldn’t let my husband take no for an answer — and I’m so glad I didn’t. From the very beginning, Meghan was friendly, down-to-earth, and made both of us feel totally comfortable (which was really important to me because I normally feel so awkward in front of a camera!). She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and was amazing at communicating throughout the whole process. She really took the time to understand our vision for a cozy, casual backyard wedding — and brought it to life through her warm, documentary-style photos that perfectly captured the vibe of the day. So many guests commented on how awesome the photographers were! Even though I leaned toward candid, documentary shots, Meghan was super flexible and helped us with some posed photos too, which turned out beautiful. She even helped set up our tattoo station (and got her own temporary sleeve — iconic), and sent us some Polaroids after the wedding, which was the cutest touch. Overall, Meghan was such a good vibe. It honestly felt like hanging out with a close friend who just happened to have a camera and a really good eye (: Can’t recommend her enough!”
