Rancho Mirando is located on the iconic Devil's Backbone with 25 mile views of Wimberley Valley. We only do 20 curated weekend weddings with overnight accommodations for 16. We have both 48 hour and 72 hour packages.

Our story began in 1957 in the small west Texas town of Monahans. At Frosty’s local burger and ice cream shack, Carol Ann was enjoying an evening out with friends, when Sam, a young airman spotted her in the crowd; He leaned in and told his buddies, “I’m going to marry that girl”. Courting her through the family’s old screen door, their love story began…. lasting over 60 years. Gatherings of family and friends were the hallmark to Sam and Carol Ann’s life together. They enjoyed sharing their stories full of adventure, love and laughter….The Casa at Canyon Lake is a legacy to their love story. Dedicated in loving memory of Sam and Carol Ann, the family renovated the property in 2024, creating a wedding & event venue to continue building a lifetime of treasured memories.

We are located on the north side of Canyon Lake in the Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio. We have 25 Cabins and Cottages plus an Event Hall and Wedding Gazebo. Our place is beautifully landscaped with over 5 acres of lawns, huge oak trees, covered picnic and BBQ areas, a playground, in-ground pool and beach volleyball court. Canyon Lake offers 80 miles of shoreline around pristine clear blue waters for fun year-round.

Hidden Falls is a dual-hall with two gorgeous, nature-inspired venues to choose from. Overflowing with natural beauty in the form of waterfalls, native plants, and mature trees, Hayes Hollow embodies the true meaning of becoming one with nature. Tucked among 100-year-old oak trees, Hayes Hollow features a stunning open-air ceremony pavilion, cocktail patio, and spacious ballroom for a celebration your guests will be talking about for years to come. A full kitchen, dining area, seating area, dressing room, full bathroom, and a chic salon room are all yours to use as you see fit. The handsome grooms quarter is rustic and comfortable with a full bathroom, seating and dining area, and a serving area with a mini fridge. Everything the awaiting groom will need is provided. Your vision is our mission! You are free to use our venue however you wish. The open air chapel can be used for a gorgeous ceremony or a covered outdoor reception area. The professionally lit outdoor courtyard is perfect for cocktail hour and dancing under the Texas stars. The indoor reception area is adorned with stained glass and statement chandeliers. Enjoy the outdoor bar with additional seating area. Our decor warehouse is yours to use. Tables and chairs are also provided.

I have always enjoyed European gardens, they are magical! My inspiration was the Gardens of Versailles located in France. I wanted to create the Fairy-tail venue for our brides to walk through, with elegant formal pruned shrubs, enchanting Juliette balcony to over look the 3 acres of gardens with 250 rose bushes. Old world architecture to give it that Cinderella vibe. The ballroom is all white with 3 crystal chandeliers, a white marble floor, with walls enhanced with the Bridgerton details to give it that simple elegance. The Mansion is where the bridal party gets ready with lots of space, large bridal & Grooms suite, large kitchen, 3 bathrooms/showers, and a beautiful spiral staircase. We also have Guest accommodations available, created in a small private French Village with 6 individual chateaus decorated in the French style of elegance. The Village has a large town square fountain, swimming pool with lounging furniture, BBQ & corn hull game and butterfly garden.

Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. West River House is an homage to a Vermont covered bridge and houses an art collection to create a museum-like experience with breathtaking views over Lake Dunlap. A dining area under the covered bridge has 25-foot high ceilings and provides a Harry Potter feel with interiors of the bridge designed using original barn wood. Pass to the lake side of the house and there is floor-to-ceiling glass, balconies, patios, and vestiges of Mid-century Modern masterpieces. The venue features four luxurious suites on massive balconies, two kitchens to make any chef jealous and a spectacular sound system in virtually every room. A new 4100 sq ft patio cantilevers over the edge of the lake with a 40’x40’ tent included in the deal for celebrations and dining lakeside. Access to a 100’ dock brings your celebration to the water for boating, kayaking and fishing.
