We got married here on May 3, 2024 and our wedding at The Palms was a DREAM! The venue itself is STUNNING and doesn't require you to spend much time or money on decorating. The beautiful tropical plants and flowers that are already at the venue truly speak for themselves! As a result of this, we didn't need to spend much money on flowers or decor for the reception. Our ceremony was on the beach, which, again, was stunning! Our cocktail hour was at the gazebo area, which has a beautiful, flower covered gazebo that is perfect for photos. Our seated dinner and dancing was at the Grand Tiki Hut, which once again, had a beautiful, tropical ambiance. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and we could not have been happier with how it turned out. It truly was a dream. The on-site wedding coordinator, Vanessa Ortiz, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was there for us every step of the way and on our actual wedding day, helped us with unexpected things (like helping my fiance unbutton the 30 buttons on my dress so I could do an outfit change for the dancing, haha). She is warm, kind and amazing at her job. Vanessa took great care with all of the decor we brought and set up everything to our exact instructions. We also worked with her colleague, Barbara, for our wedding tasting. She was equally as kind and wonderful! Speaking of the tasting, The Palms has a restaurant on-site called Essensia, which was the caterer for all of the food (aside from the cake). Let me tell you, my husband and I are foodies and we both agreed that the food was absolutely delicious! I cannot rave about this venue enough! Overall, it was a perfect experience and we were able to have our dream wedding! Do yourself a favor and have your wedding here! :)

My husband and I had our wedding here Nov. 2024. Everything from the food, to the service, location, parking literally everything was perfect. I am being completely honest when I say I have no complaints. The evening went so smoothly thanks to the team at Vista Lago. They were constantly checking on my husband and I throughout our wedding. One of the most important details to me was the food and the food here was incredible. Everyone was raving about how great everything tasted. You have the ceremony, cocktail and reception all in one location. Not only is it great for weddings, but it is also great for baby showers, 15’s, birthdays and a lot of other fun events. It has high ceilings with beautiful chandeliers. It’s a gorgeous venue and the best value you will find in Miami. If you are anything like me and very indecisive and anxious, Vista Lago is the place to hold your wedding at. We are both incredibly happy we chose this venue and will be choosing this venue for future celebrations. They also gave us the left overs. We couldn’t eat on our wedding because of our nerves but we were able to enjoy the food the day after and everyone was right it was sooo good

Having our wedding at Deering Estate was a dream come true. The view is indescribable. On our first time visiting, we knew this was the place for us. Christina gave us our initial tour and helped us throughout the entire process. She was a pleasure to work with! Especially since it was a destination wedding for us, it was a comfort being left in good hands. Overall, communication with Christina was amazing, but there was a lapse between what we were told by Christina and the security on the day of our wedding. Security tried to lock us out of a room we paid for, as well as the room where our wedding party was meant to keep all of our personal belongings. My husband and wedding planner got everything straightened out when they were eventually able to get in contact with Christina (for some reason, it was harder to reach her that day). Although, that situation definitely put a damper on our special day; all in all, we’d do it again! Deering allows you to bring outside caterers and services to their beautiful location, so we truly got everything we wanted. It was a blessing of a day and better than any wedding I could’ve dreamt for myself. 10/10 would recommend this location for ANY event. (Just ensure you have adequate bug spray and extra lights around your set up for when it gets dark, as the property does not provide any!)

This venue is definitely a hidden gem. We had a rooftop ceremony (which is hard to find on Collins Ave) and the reception was in the back outdoors. The food was exceptional along with cocktail hour. We’re extremely grateful for staff, they were accommodating to us and our guests, they were truly the best! The day of coordinator deserves an award for handling every single problem and making it look so effortless. She’s efficient and knows what she’s doing! Couldn’t of picked a better venue

I was so happy with our entire wedding weekend at the Faena. We had our ceremony with 270 people on the beach, cocktail hour in and around the mammoth garden, and ceremony across the street at the Forum. Due to pricing we did a complete buyout of Casa Faena and had guests who wanted to stay at the main Faena Hotel book on their own. The guests who stayed at Casa Faena raved about it. Staff was friendly and they loved the charm of the boutique hotel and spent a lot of time on the roof). It comes without saying, the entire staff at the main hotel was also exceptional. As for the wedding I couldn’t say better things. The food was delicious from the cocktail hour to the late night snacks. The drinks were flowing, the there was a great selection in the standard menu that came with the wedding pricing. The weather helped the beach ceremony go without a flaw. Cocktail hour at sunset near the mammoth was dreamy. The Forum was such a cool space the have the reception. The guests loved the unique room, and the sound was great. We were worried after reading a review about the acoustics with the tall ceilings, but we were very pleased. Overall, this was a great place to host a wedding. P.S. when you book a wedding with the Faena a bridal concierge is included. Hilda! She was the best and so helpful throughout the day – the one person I didn’t know I needed. I just had my wedding at Palm House over the weekend, and I cannot recommend it enough. The venue, the team, everything. For background, my (new!) husband and I are Miami Beach locals who wanted a small, boho beachy wedding and when we toured Palm House last year, we knew this was it. For reference, we had 80 people at our wedding, and we did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception across both the little palm, and big palm (we did NOT do the beach - I didn't want to worry about any potential hiccups with wind or the fact that it is a public space, so being ASIDE the beach in the palms were perfect for us!). One of the best parts about Palm House is that it is attached to a hotel which is PEFECT to use as your room block for guests (which we did, and for ourselves!), making it super easy for everyone to enjoy a vacation in Miami, but also the ease of being right where all the fun will be. Our guests LOVED this! From Day 1, Melissa and Kim were extremely helpful with all our questions, which was key for us because we did NOT have a wedding planner - everything was on us! The months and weeks leading closer to the wedding when we had to start finalizing tasting, decor, run of show, and all the little things, Kim (point person/coordinator!) went above and beyond - not only was she super responsive on text, but she was always open to having me come in person to walk through things together. Three weeks before the wedding, we spent almost two hours together going through things, and finalizing the decor - it was so much fun! Speaking of decor - I attached the pictures because one of the best parts was that decor was INCLUDED in our pricing. This is unheard of...AND, its stunning. All of the gorgeous flowers (best quality fake/dried flowers I have EVER seen), table signs, and linens are from them! We of course provided our welcome sign and favors, etc., but Kim was super helpful with volunteering extra baskets, etc., that she had in her decor closet to help tie things together. She truly went above and beyond her role, which I GREATLY appreciated since like I mentioned, we were our own wedding planners! For the wedding weekend, Kim was also able to get us early check in (which is never guaranteed, of course, but she did EVERYTHING to make it happen and it worked out!), which was SO helpful to get settled. Our setup and ceremony started on time - we had zero issues. This is definitely attributed to having a run of show prior that we went through with Kim and our vendors (DJ and photographer), so everyone knew points of contact and exact timing on things - which is key. Also, myself as a bride made sure I was on time, ha! I will forever be grateful to the Palm House team!

We cannot thank the Islander crew enough for all they did to help prepare for our wedding. The venue is incredible. Exactly what we were looking for! The staff was so helpful in the planning process and were very caring and thorough in helping to create the day we were looking for.
