Baking remained a hobby for me as I pursued an education in massage therapy and developed coffee-making and customer service skills at the local Starbucks. I started growing the idea of Rose & Petal Cakery in 2019 in the midst of the pandemic. I derailed my 4-year college plan to work in a restaurant and then attend pastry school - which is how I landed in Rhode Island. I needed a field that was both regimented and creative and pastry delivered! I’ve baked in Providence for over 6 years, and I couldn’t imagine ever leaving the incredible network of small food businesses that I’ve been welcomed into. Every cake and frosting is made by me, from scratch - no fondant in my kitchen! My favorite designs are those that capture the personalities and passions of my incredible clients.

In 2018 Seacoast Sweets moved to Rhode Island from Massachusetts. Since then, Seacoast Sweets has continued to grow online, in destination hotels throughout New England, tourist locations, weddings, and events, at boutique retailers, and as a popular corporate gift.

Petrova Chocolates was established in 2020 and since then we have been focusing on creating eye-catching, artisanal chocolate bonbons, truffles, chocolate bars and caramels with unique flavor combinations.
