Little did we know that just about 45 minutes away from us there was a venue that checked every box in our list. From unique, special, SURROUNDED BY TULIPS, wonderful vendors, and the one and only KAYLA; Tamory Hall was everything we needed. Our families traveled from very far away from breathtaking places to a place they will always cherish with their hearts. Everyone loved the wonderful town of Pella and its people along with the Tulips. On a whim, I randomly found Community Courtyard. Little did I know it has been a town staple in Plattsburg, MO for 20 years as an event space. The building itself is very historical, dating back to the 1800's. This building is a non-profit and runs as a food bank throughout the week, so you know your money is going to a good cause. They came at very reasonable price (about 70% lower than most places we looked at). Not only that but we got a lot of bang for our buck. They had decor we could use, a sound system, a cute bridal suite, they tore everything down for us for a small fee, and were super flexible with scheduling. It also holds a lot of guests and has ample kitchen space on both floors. From the moment we first visited in person, the owner made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right. Their communication style was excellent, with regular calls and in-person meetings to discuss all the details. The venue itself is truly stunning, with spacious rooms, multiple areas and buildings, and plenty of space both indoors and out. The owner made sure all the photo spots were in perfect condition, and even gave us great ideas on how to use the different spaces, like the small church-like building and the multiple stages overlooking the river and wooded areas. We felt so taken care of, and the owner was always checking in to make sure things were going smoothly leading up to the big day. Being able to rent the venue for the full weekend was an added bonus that allowed us to really make the most of the space. Overall, we could not have asked for a better venue and wedding experience.
