When I wanted to make additions later on, she was so amazing with meeting my needs and informed me of the cost after the initial quote. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. If you want your wedding to be classy, romantic, a total rager, and go off without a hitch, I would highly recommend hiring Cello Joe!”

I had already booked a DJ, but was specifically looking for a company that would be able to provide cold spark machines for our first dance and our grand exit. I said I wanted as many as he could provide for both of those moments and he was able to use eight total machines (four on each side). The layout of them was perfect and made for some fantastic photos and videos. Sean also asked what the first dance song was ahead of time so he would know the piece of music and could then time the start of the cold spark machines with the first chorus of the song for a more dramatic effect. He announced everything well, communicated with our wedding coordinator and the other vendors, played our requested song list, and consistently checked in on my (new!) husband and I throughout the evening to see if there was anything that he could help us with. On our song list, we noted that we didn't want any country music played (unless it was a specifically requested song), and when one of our guests asked him to play 'Cotton Eye Joe', Terrell even came up to me and asked me if it was okay because he wasn't sure if I considered that country music!
