On a whim, I randomly found Community Courtyard. Little did I know it has been a town staple in Plattsburg, MO for 20 years as an event space. The building itself is very historical, dating back to the 1800's. This building is a non-profit and runs as a food bank throughout the week, so you know your money is going to a good cause. They came at very reasonable price (about 70% lower than most places we looked at). Not only that but we got a lot of bang for our buck. They had decor we could use, a sound system, a cute bridal suite, they tore everything down for us for a small fee, and were super flexible with scheduling. It also holds a lot of guests and has ample kitchen space on both floors. We booked the whole place out and don’t regret any of it. If I could go back in time and do it again the only thing I would change would have booked the air b&b’s for a few more days!
