We toured/spoke with nearly 15 venues from Mankato to the Metro. So many required you to use all of their vendors, had strict rules about what you could and couldn't do, or required a lot of work and decor to create a beautiful space. The other venues made us feel like we'd have a cookie cutter wedding with no option to make it our own. Then we found Next Chapter! The space is stunning and holds a lot of character. We had plenty of space for both my wife and I to get ready in two separate suites. There was a separate space for everyone to enjoy cocktail hour while the room was flipped for the reception and dance. From the minute we toured the space we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. Sitting down with Megan was an absolute delight. We hired her for her day of coordinator services as well and she took care of everything. She made the room stunning and we didn’t have to worry about anything. She was extremely professional, she was in constant communication with us and even took our call the night before at 10pm when our officiant quit on us last minute. She helped us through the situation and calmed our nerves. The day of the ceremony it felt like we were working with one of our close friends by our sides. The barns are beautiful, it has ample parking, love the grain bin bar, can't miss the car with the fire pit under the hood and they even have a playground for the kiddos! We are planning to renew our vows there next spring and can't wait! Everything was super cute and beautiful. You could have your entire wedding out here or just the reception. There was plenty of space on the property, while also giving a close-knit, family environment feel. Pictures here turned out beautifully. They have a small suite for the bridal party where the girls can get ready. The owners were great and quick to respond. Tim and Lindsey were super easy to work with. She was always super energetic and willing to help me with last minute solutions.
