Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply that are different from privately owned venues. The Cloisters Castle, located just outside of Baltimore, MD, reflects the beauty and grandeur of medieval Europe! The Cloisters is a historic home designed to look like a European castle, featuring delicately carved wood, exquisitely detailed stained glass, and ornately designed wrought iron, much of which was sourced from European castles. There are multiple indoor and outdoor locations for your ceremony and reception. Several movies have been filmed here, including Cry Baby with Johnny Depp, and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett were married here on New Years' Eve in 1997!

The warm and inviting clubhouse provides panoramic views from the highest point in Harford County. Our climate controlled tented ballroom has the same incredible views. As does the adjacent lawn for your ceremony and cocktail hour. We have to private rooms inside the clubhouse for smaller events.
