The first time I stepped on to what is now the woodland trail with River the owner, she was explaining all of her aspirations, I was sold. Even if I was surrounded by dirt & fallen trees. I knew with the hard work, determination, & talent that she & Forrest have, this would become a stunning place. That was 2019. Boy did they knock it out of the park. They have created a wedding wonderland. The pavillion is perfect for cover. Whether you use it for your seating, dancing, or both. Its large wood columns & beams give you the true Alaskan feel. As you're standing inside you can't help but be mesmerized by the mountains surrounding you or the vastness of the fields. River has also done a fantastic job in her selection of tables & chairs. The tables are large 6ft rounds that allow you to seat 8 people comfortably, & the chairs are not only beautiful but comfortable. I had multiple guest state that they were very comfortable. When it got cold in the evening, River got out the heaters for us all to warm around, she is always trying to make every experience the best it can & goes out of her way to make it happen. The bathrooms are clean, large enough for even the big ballgowns, & she even took the time to make plaques telling you about the vegetation around you that can harm you if you come in contact. I've been to many venues, I don't know a single one that has been this thorough, in not only creating the full experience of a great event, but also the care for the people who choose her venue. It truly was a dream getting married there. I can't wait to watch the venue continue to grow & become all that she has envisioned.
