The feeling of being inside a 100 year-old school building will transport you back in time to experience what a rural school was like over a century ago. The Martindale Schoolhouse is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for weddings, special events, weekend getaways, and outdoor excursions. First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall. Perfect for wedding receptions, dances, corporate outings, you name it... all hosted under the sky and stars within the walls of the original school gymnasium. To top it off, the crystal clear San Marcos River is a short walk away .

Our venue represents the most authentic, rustic ceremony and reception barn in central Texas. Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. West River House is an homage to a Vermont covered bridge and houses an art collection to create a museum-like experience with breathtaking views over Lake Dunlap. A dining area under the covered bridge has 25-foot high ceilings and provides a Harry Potter feel with interiors of the bridge designed using original barn wood. Pass to the lake side of the house and there is floor-to-ceiling glass, balconies, patios, and vestiges of Mid-century Modern masterpieces. The venue features four luxurious suites on massive balconies, two kitchens to make any chef jealous and a spectacular sound system in virtually every room. A new 4100 sq ft patio cantilevers over the edge of the lake with a 40’x40’ tent included in the deal for celebrations and dining lakeside. Access to a 100’ dock brings your celebration to the water for boating, kayaking and fishing.

Tiny T Ranch is a working ranch with a wedding chapel. We are SUPER laid back and we only work with super laid back couples. We are not a fancy high-end venue. If you dig nature, farm animals, and a relaxing time, we might be right for you. We invite prospective clients to come and see the place, meet the team, and see what you think. In addition to the Tiny Chapel there is a 1325 square foot reception hall. It is DIY. You set up and break down. You can rent our tables and chairs if you want. If you need an officiant, one lives on-site. There is a bridal cabin and a man shed for grooms. Or if you’re two brides or two grooms, y’all can flip a coin and see who gets what space. You can easily fit 80 guests in the reception hall so if it rains, you are literally covered. We have hosted hundreds of weddings from elopements to bigger events. We’d love to work with you if our vibe suits your vibe and vice versa.
