Amanda and her assistant Mike have been an absolute pleasure to work with and we could not be more pleased with how the photos have turned out. Seriously, it feels like we got pieces of keepsake art instead of just generic wedding photos/documentation of the event. Also, Amanda was wonderful at communicating, flexible when the forecast threatened to ruin our engagement shoot, and helped reassure us and pivot when we had inclement weather on our wedding day (even capitalizing on it and getting an amazing shot with a rainbow). On the day-of she brought a calm chill vibe and was great at capturing candid moments as well as moving people/arranging group shots without being bossy or invasive. As a same-gender couple, Amanda was great to work with- she used inclusive language, was affirming and sensitive asking about our family's involvement/support, and also made sure to learn/ask about our respective cultures (we're Indian/Jewish) to make sure she captured what was most important to us. We would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“I cannot recommend Laura enough to photograph your special day! Laura was our wedding photographer this past June and was such a pleasure to work with. While in the process of picking a photographer, Laura and I chatted over Zoom and I was pleasantly surprised with how easy Laura was to talk to, as well as how organized she seemed with her planning. Leading up to the wedding Laura was very communicative and answered all my questions immediately. The day of the wedding she arrived right on time and was incredibly organized. Her second photographer, Bia, was also a pleasure to work with. She was professional and fun- the kids in our wedding party loved Bia and she was able to capture amazing pictures. My fiance and I were somewhat dreading all the group photos that a wedding entails, however Laura ran this process so smoothly we actually had fun taking the photos! We were blown away with the end results. The photos came out absolutely beautiful. Laura captured all the feelings of our special day in every one of her photos. We also received SO many photographs- quite impressive considering I barely even noticed Laura taking pictures while I was so wrapped up in the day. I started photographing weddings in 2017. I originally got my first camera to photograph landscapes- National Parks specifically. But the second the camera was in my hands, I was immediately drawn to photographing connections between people. Since that moment I haven't hesitated while my heart led me in the direction of wedding and elopement photography! I love documenting the in-between, unprompted moments; the subtle way your partner glances over at you with a side smile when you're not paying attention, the groom fiddling with his new ring, and the uncontrollable laughter when you're melting into each other during your couple's photos.

“Tammy, there is not enough praise in this world for what you deserve for truly creating the most magical elopement day. From the moment we started talking, Tammy filled our imagination with ideas, plans and picture locations to help make our wedding special. She did not hesitate when we decided to elope in Acadia National Park and sent over research and location ideas of where to hold our ceremony. She was attentive to the details that were most important to us and really allowed us to create our perfect day. Not only did she help plan our elopement day but day of she arrived early and was able to help create the excitement and long lasting memories. With her creative eye, she found the most perfect spot for us to have our first look. With great skill, she professionally moved the wedding party along to be to stay true to the ceremony timeline and the National Park entrance time (which is a feat to coordinate 7 guests, a dog and a bus driver). With not having a wedding planner (or any guest focused on timeline) it was so helpful to have Tammy to take charge and gather the group. Lastly, but certainly not least, she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We dont normally enjoy being the center of attention, she had us move naturally and cued us to be confident in front of the camera. With her upbeat personality and lots of laughs, the pictures captured our excitement and love while we eloped. She didn’t hesitate for a second when we asked for our dog to be in almost every picture us and was able to capture. She read my mind as taking pictures from different angles and of the landscape around us. Thank you Tammy for making our dream surprise elopement a reality! Not only was it the most perfect day, but now we have pictures that capture the emotions and celebration of our wedding!”
