All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles.\n\nThe cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well.\n\nThey have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful.\n\nThey are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team.\n\nWe were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. Everything went smoothly and as stress free as a wedding can be. Having a wedding so close to the holidays made travel much more expensive so having a hotel that was so reasonably priced was such a HUGE win. \nThere was some construction in the surrounding area but none of our guests had anything negative to say about it, so if you see this don't be concerned. The stunning view from the ballroom spoke for itself! \nWe worked most closely with John and Christian but the Sheraton team was huge and we met many different people responsible for our event. We stayed on the property in the Carriage House the night before and the night of our wedding. The Carriage House is also used for any guests that want to stay at the Estate. We just recently stayed again for our one year anniversary! It was just as wonderful as it was for our wedding! The staff here is amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed and they are so thoughtful. I definitely recommend Cumberland. There’s plenty of beautiful scenery for the perfect wedding photos. The Venue is affordable and offers a good amount of accommodations that other venues do not and would cost extra even. The little things do matter, it adds up as we all know. The Venue kept in great contact with me and responded to me right away with questions I had through the whole experience and worked with me. Such a beautiful Venue. Was nervous when I found out a new owner took over, but realized quickly I didn’t need to be. The new owners kept up with the same pace of communication and response time and even on our Wedding day they greeted us and made sure everything was going good. We even got a beautiful view of the water on the hill for some wedding photos. My Wife and I enjoy coming here for different events and the wine room when it’s open. This place will forever be a cherished memory and not everyone can say that they can go back to where they got married. It was a picture perfect day and everything went off without a hitch. The entire staff is very well synced up and worked as if it were a well rehearsed dance.\n\nIf you are looking for a budget friendly venue I encourage you to stop reading now and look elsewhere, but it was money well spent in my opinion. Be aware that the venue does tend to nickel and dime you and nothing is included with your venue cost. Need more prep time? Need seat cushions? Want a signature drink off their list? \n\nIn the end, I get it. They are a business, they need to pay their staff and bills but they were very non-flexible. With that being said we chose Lovely Veil for our planner and Feastivities events as out caterer and the entire night went without a hitch and I was very impressed.
