Fields at Skycrest is casual elegance at its best! This unique venue is situated on an 95 acre working farm. The setting is relaxed and peaceful while the event space designed is classic and elegant. Whether the couple is looking for an outdoor ceremony surrounded by trees and open fields or a covered outdoor ceremony space, Fields at Skycrest has you covered. The indoor climate controlled reception space that can accommodate 300 guests is light and airy and includes everything from a beautiful fireplace, to a grand metal staircase, to clear doors that can be opened to the large outdoor patio. Homesteads Events is a division of Homesteads Management, one of the Piedmont and Western North Carolina fastest-growing and well-respected event & hospitality companies. A small non-descript utility building on the premises, while listed as a “noncontributing” structure, is believed to have been a carriage house for the David Ramsour House (ca. 1820) which occupied the property years ago.
