Edwards Place, built in 1833, was a social center of antebellum Springfield. In its gracious parlors Abraham Lincoln, Stephen Douglas, Ulysses S. Grant, and other Illinois luminaries gathered at elegant parties and balls. You, too, can have your special day in the same rooms where Abraham and Mary Lincoln were guests more than 150 years ago, now meticulously restored to the grandeur of their antebellum days. Edwards Place is available to rent for showers, weddings, and receptions – the perfect choice for a distinctive event in a historically significant setting. You can even include extra services for your event, such as the use of a piano often heard by Abraham Lincoln (and possibly played at his wedding!). Our rental space has three areas of possibility - the historic house museum, the grounds in front of Edwards Place, and the M.G. Our venue is nestled on 36 acres and features 2 ponds with fountains. The building was once an airplane hangar - during your event the large door can be opened for an indoor/outdoor experience. The property boasts 2 bridal suites, a man cave with a bar, pool table, & theater room as well as a home that will sleep 17 and a seasonal pool. One of the most popular amenities (and we offer so many resources to our couples) we offer is our extensive decorations collection that you can use - free of charge. And after your wedding? No cleaning up at The Hangar! Our staff is onsite the entire evening cleaning and at the end of the night they pack everything away!

Loveland Estates is located on 10 acres with a beautiful waterfront property, outdoor covered ceremony site and cocktail hour area. We are a one stop shop for fresh florals centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnières, decor and bar service. Full set-up and tear down included with use of decor services. We also offer a cocktail hour bar cart and a shuttle service for local hotel blocks or to our off site Loveland Home that sleeps up to 12 guests {located just 10 minutes away}. Our venue hosts up to 215 guests. 1 hour rehearsal, wooden cross back chairs, private bridal suite and grooms loft included in price. Tours offered throughout the week by appointment. Upon booking, we will send you a list of all of our favorite vendors, but we do not require to use them and you may choose your own caterer. We will be here for you every step of the way during planning and we also coordinate your big day so everything runs smoothly without any hitches. Well maybe only one “hitch”😉

Olde Wicks Factory Special Event Center is a beautiful event venue housed in the historic, century-old Pipe Organ Company building in Highland, IL. We have preserved the original architectural and artistic elements of this incredible building. The Beautiful and stunning stained glass, exposed brick, and chandeliers have been updated while still keeping the historic feel.

Located in the heart of Collinsville, Illinois, Gateway Convention Center provides 11 different event spaces that can be used for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and more! Spectra Food Services & Hospitality is the exclusive, in-house caterer at Gateway Convention Center. Although we do not allow outside food and beverage, we do make exceptions for wedding cakes.
