“So first off, the first things I asked her were; are you LGBT friendly, can you handle my anxiety, and can you photograph fat people?? Her answer was yes to all....and she exceeded my expectations. I do not talk much nor do I speak my mind ever, but I felt immediately comfortable with Taylor the second I saw her. Prior to that actually because we had texted a lot. She’s very hands-on. I booked her almost a year ago it feels like, but because of covid and other things out of our control we had to reschedule multiple times. Taylor was SO accommodating every single time. She never seemed bothered by us even though I guarantee she had to be. We are a hot mess! We changed the location multiple times, including TWO DAYS before the ceremony, I was late to my own elopement and on the way there my daughter spilled make up all over her clothes so we had to turn around for an outfit change!! Taylor was so kind and friendly. We told her in the beginning that mine and my wife’s height difference was an insecurity of ours and she made the angles work to where we didn’t look that far off at all. I’m telling you this, I have never been confident at all, I have never even liked the pictures other photographers have taken of me.....I cried when I saw Taylor’s pictures. I felt so beautiful and worthy of good photos!! I HIGHLY recommend her and will forever cherish everything she’s done. I was so uneasy about picking a photographer, it was so stressful because I’m from out of state and I knew nothing about Colorado or anything. I’m blessed to have found Taylor, she gave me everything I wanted and more!! Every single time I travel back to CO I will always have he take our photos!! “June 8th had finally arrived and we were BEYOND excited to get our elopement underway. We had spoke with Meg and Kevin several times over the phone to talk over all the details of the big day— all the conversations helped build our anticipation of the big day. They were SO invested in ensuring we had the best, most memorable, elopement day possible. We received our sneak peak while we were on mini-moon in Destin and we were overwhelmed with excitement at how good they were. We even joked that if all we had were the 60 or so pictures in the sneak peak we would be content. However, upon the arrival of our full gallery, we were obsessed with them! We were so emotional as we felt we were reliving our big day. Meg and Kev’s ability to capture the raw beauty of nature and our raw emotions are second to none! There are so many wonderful pictures, we are going to struggle picking our favorites to print for an album. They are so so SO beautiful and amazing! Meg and Kevin made the elopement super fun to where the pictures did not feel forced or posed. Almost as if we were on a hike with our besties and getting married at the same time. They went above and beyond to accommodate us—from prior prep with location choices, activity suggestions.. to day of things such as having a wagon for things we could not fit in our hiking packs. They were awesome! One hard thing in regard to planning, was being out of state and not being able to see the locations before picking them. Not to worry though, once we settled on a site, Meg and Kev hiked it ahead of time to get current pics of the location along with timing the day out with the required additional hiking. They built trust and confidence with us to ensure that everything would go smoothly. Lastly, since it was just the two of us, we wanted an officiant to make it feel a little more official. Kevin CRUSHED it as an officiant. He took bits and pieces from our phone convos to the surveys we filled out to make it personable. It was SO well done.
