The fall colors in the backyard made the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and thankfully the weather held out so we could be outside. Any extra things we wanted for the wedding or reception just needed to be dropped off and the event coordinators took care of the rest. The coordinator we met with was great with communication through email. We really enjoyed our dinner tasting - the food was amazing! The coordinators made the day run so smoothly. The room for the cocktail hour was set up wonderfully. Table settings are included with the package and the candles looked perfect. We felt secure in knowing we could easily move the ceremony inside with any weather concerns. The landscaping/greenery is so well taken care of, it looked fantastic for our ceremony outside on the patio. The hotel staff set up, serve, and clean up - it made for a very relaxing weekend. Our hotel room was incredible also. The hotel was generous with leaving little surprises and gifts for us when we arrived to our room. Literally a beautiful classic venue with such potential to make any brides dream come true. We rented the entire hotel for our reception all 19 rooms and it was perfect for our guests. The bridal suite room is beautiful with a whirlpool tub and was perfect for my wedding party to get ready for the ceremony in. Our ceremony was elsewhere but I could see someone have everything right at the Sherwood and it being completely beautiful. Greg was absolutely wonderful to work with. There are 2 venues to choose from a formal venue room on the 1st floor and a basement bar venue which we rocked and danced our reception into the early morning hours. The photos are to die for trust me!!
