For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

New Water Farms sits on a peninsula of 22 acres with a panoramic view of Lake Martin and is a gorgeous location for a wedding. We offer a beautiful indoor and/or outdoor venue. Our venue provides a rustic, unique and memorable setting for your special day. The classic view offers a premier location for your waterfront wedding, whether it’s a pull-out-all-the-stops elegant affair for 250 or a smaller rustic celebration.
